I'm a little anti-social, but I've run into a lot of jerks playing Modern Warfare games, and on Youtube.

Best community I've ever seen is the Mutants and Masterminds Atomic Think Tank (Escapist is second place)

Ubisoft Support or Ubisoft Community. You ask for help on one stupid DRM issue and you get shut down. Epic fun...

Since my brother loves it so much, I can only assume that 4chan is pretty unfriendly. He's a dick and likes to be a dick.

The Internet as a whole.

Am I right?

Seriously, though. People exposing themselves to others? People who rage and flame and swear at other people? And all for the low, low price of $50 for a year! Who wouldn't want that kind of service?
fixed.

once again, overhyped, i play on all systems across all boards across all different types of games, and i have seen just as worse as i have seen on xbox, at least on xbox they are usually just little kids, on other platforms its usually older guys with the biggest e penis's in the world kicking you from their games or trying to do serious business on you on the game, its quite sad, so no, its not worse than the others

OT: for a specific website...i'd say collegehumor.com has a pretty bad one, if you check out the comments section on some of that stuff....its a massive WTF

AOL comment section until they blocked it...my god, the amount of trolls and fanatics on that site is unbelievable

CNN comments are pretty damn bad also

Youtube comments can be quite funny sometimes, but there is more shit than funny

COD4 and MW2 are bad, but I seen worse. I just mute them if I need to.

Counter Strike can be bad if you just so happen to be playing good. Everyone automatically calls you a hacker and tries to kick you out of a game if you just so happen to get 5 headshots in a row after a 15 death streak lol

STEAM has some terrible forums.
And as said, ALL the Call of Duty games have horrible communities.
But I think the (Super) Street Fighter IV communities, especially on the consoles (I'm not saying the hardcore Pro players, I mean the normal players) are horrible. Whether they use unfair tactics, accuse you of using unfair tactics, or the infinite Kens and Akumas, the core SSFIV community makes me cry.

No Mutants Allowed can be unfriendly if you suggested Fallout 3 might actually be fun buck in 2008.

On pretty much all these shooters I've been called a "******" and/or "scrub" because I killed someone in a way they think is cheap.
Ha ha ha, it's funny because whining about certain kinds of kills being "cheap" is the very definition of a scrub.

Coming from a metal head, I can say many online metal communities can be quite hostile if your likes don't match up with theirs. (and that tends to happen often.)

chatroulette? Maybe I don't know, never dared to venture into such a dark corner of the internet. Otherwise for a community I personally experienced I would have to say youtube...

I've noticed in Battlefield BC2 that I have yet to run into the first person like this and they actually use the mic for its intended purpose - teamwork and strategy. But, I'm not going to get my hopes too high up as I haven't played this one that much yet.
I stopped playing BF:BC2 because so few people have mics, and then the ones who do don't say anything useful. Just my experience.

This one. Go away.

But in all seriousness, it is probably 4chan.
4chan gets way too much flak for a site that's not meant to be taken seriously. It's just for laughs, so lighten up!

GameFAQs and Youtube tie for biggest piece of shit excuse for an online community.

I never thought youtube was that bad, also your avatar creeps me the fuck out.
What? Why? It's super cute! ^_^
I concur. Don't change your avatar one bit. :)

But on topic: The Red vs Blue community is a little obnoxious, especially with those "First post!" guys.
