After some games of Mercs 2 and DMC 4 it struck me that the video game world, much like the movie world is full of unfunny jokes.
So Out of curiosity, what was the most unfunny line you've ever heard a character spout in a game/movie/tv show/book?

Hey, hey, hey, don't take offense, please. When machinima is good, I love the stuff. Hell, I make machinima [http://www.youtube.com/user/MoonIMover], so obviously I don't hate it all. You got folks like Roosterteeth,DigitalPh33r, Oxhorn, and others making some great stuff. But most of it, most of it, just plain sucks.

Also, while it's not something I would get a Youtube subscription to, Avatar the Abridged Series is one of those I'm counting in the .2% that doesn't all-round suck.

I know I'm setting myself up for crucifixion, here, but... almost all of Unforgotten Realms. I watched the first five episodes, and I only chuckled once. The humour is so forced and predictable that it baffles me as to why it seemingly has legions of fans on The Escapist.

I'd agree, but I don't know much about the bad stuff, being that the only machinima I've seen is RVB, P.A.N.I.C.S, Gameplay May Change, and G-man squad, and the only abridged I've seen is Yugioh.

The remarks people in the street made in Assassin's Creed annoyed me so much that I couldn't even finish the game. There I was, enjoying myself jumping about and whatnot and all I can hear is people constantly saying "What is he doing?" "He's going to hurt himself?" "I don't know what he thinks he's doing!" "If he hurts himself I'm not going to help him!" all in terrible accents.

Also Fable's "Oh, yore luverly!" got on my nerves.

In "The World Ends With You" for the DS, Neku, the main character, says that someone is "full of fail." Oh, ah ha ha. They know the teenage lingo and have replicated my angst. That's so funny, that it makes me want to play their game even more!
