I hate it in games, were the AI is so bad it runs right in front of your sniper rifle, looking down the barrel just as you hit the trigger

AI: Any game where this can happen.

Were all supposed to go to some scripted point.

It will only work when the AI is also there.

AI gets stuck and yells at you to GET TO DA CHOPPER or whatever.

Real Life Teammates: Going any kind of MAXIMUM HUR DUR DUR with the intention of annoying the team.

Me.
"I need your ammo. *boom headshot*"
This happened in Batllefield 1942. Playing as Sniper, ran out of ammo, the last bullet went straight into the cranium of some teammate guy with an engineer kit nearby. And then I proceeded to kill about 10 people with the engineer's shitty rifle.

But I am a pretty good team player in Team Fortress 2. Maybe because you can't kill teammates.

I'm currently having issues with Gears Of War 2 and GTA IV: The Lost & Damned.

Biggest problem I see with Gears is that they play so aggressively. I'm hanging back, using cover... and they're mixing it up in the middle of the mess. They also have this really bad habit of getting right in front of me during fights. On the plus side, they're good at thinning the ranks.

The team AI in TL&D is no better. When following the leader on bikes, it's not unusual for me to go swerving on to the sidewalk because I'm driving too aggressively... then three bikers come crashing into me, because they're following me, not the Club Leader. And in fights, they often take positions directly in front of me... while I'm unloading a clip on an enemy. And it's not like GTA IV's combat is so tough you need teammates. You can pretty much take out an army as long as you have ammo and a safe place to shoot from; so I have the added annoyance of not wanting them there.

Well the AI in L4D and L4D2 have some kind of aversion to shooting Special Infected sometimes.

I got hit by a Smoker and as opposed to shooting it, the AI decided to run all the way through obstacles and areas to melee me free, the insane amount of time this took meant I was downed despite having high health to start with.

This kind of thing is quite frequent.
I was applauded by the opposite team on Vs. mode when I "finished" the No Mercy finale with myself and the 3 AI characters (other team members all rage-quit).

If the helicopter had been 10 seconds faster I would have f*cking made it too - damn charger!

On online multiplayer it's such a disadvantage that you can't rally your team to a top performance.

If you even TRY to, they'll call you a whiner, noob, whiner... Who takes the game too fucking serious.

But, if your team is completely uncoordinated and your enemy runs like a well-organized pack of wolves, than what fucking chances of winning have you? Or yet, turning the uneven scoreboard around which it should be to the enemies favor.

I also dislike it when the AI is the sole reason you lose a game, say, when they won't back you up or just be in your God-damn way.

I can count to three times that I have been God-like and slaughtered the enemies like a lawnmower over grass, only to find one remaining enemy, and I am all out of bullets...
Does my team-mate help me from my pickle? What's in it for him, he wonders, as I get shot in the face as I desperately try to switch to a weapon with a magazine left.
Yeah...

Certain TF2 servers have players who join your team and create a formation of synchronised sandvich-eating heavies, or just go spy and spycrab around. They then complain loudly and angrily if the opposing team kills them, and accuse anyone who doesn't approve of their behaviour of 'hating fun'.

I think that takes the cake, pretty much.

The main problem I've had with AI teammates is them running into or through my field of fire, them get mad at me, or outright turning hostile, for shooting them (99% of the time accidentally).
It's incredibly frustrating to line up a near perfect shot and have your cross-hairs blocked right before you fire, or to have you r teammate run in front of you while you're firing an assault rifle on full-auto.

Halo 3. I accidently get in the passenger side of a Warthog. AI solider drives slightly to the left and over a cliff. I jump out just in time to watch the idiot fall to his death and shout abuse at the corpse.

Online though, it's basically betrayal. Uncharted 2 has the occasional pricks that throw a grenade at the start of the match at the main exit and kill a team-mate. Why?! Honsestly...

first is whe they get in my way, im the plowing type who gets in and kills quick so the enemy doesnt realise im there until my bullet is in their face, when people/AI take any ammo they dont need, same goes for health.

TF2:
Me: I'll build a sentry here, everyone else seems to have taken care of the rest of the place.
1 kill
2 kill
3 kill
4 kill
5 kill
Other Engies: Seems like he's getting a lot of kills lets move our sentries to his!
Announcer: The enemy has capture the intelligence.
Me: Guys defend the intel, seriously, we need the sentries to be less compacted together.
Other Engies: So you can get all of the kills? No.
Announcer: You have failed!

Also, during the ENTIRE time none of the other guys got kills because the enemy realised we didn't have defense now.

On Call of Duty: Black Ops, while playing zombies on "Five", two morons with the same clan tag took the elevator down to the lower level, leaving me and the other guy behind. One stayed in the doorway, preventing us from calling the elevator back, and the other ran around gaurding him.

Easy! The most unhelpful thing AI team-mates can do is trap you in a corner and not let you out. I thought I'd seen the last of this problem some years ago, but then I played Mass Effect 2. Bioware, you're awesome, but your AI is r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d.

In regards to AI, you guys have basically said it all for me so far.
However, in online multiplayer MW2 or Black Ops, playing Domination with people that never go to capture points or defend them. Seriously, that's the fucking objective. Instead they go for kills only. In my opinion, the only time this is acceptable is when it is only 1 person and they are absolutely slaughtering the other team to the point it is making a noticeable difference and my job is easier for it. Otherwise, just stop it. I just can't stand when I have like 7 captures and 5 defends that I basically solo'd and my team still manages to lose.

I would have to say when doing a Halo Reach Mythic run on Winter Contingency, where I get out of my car, flip something out of the way of the road, and turn around only to see Carter and Jorge Leeroy-Jenkinsing right up to, but not through, about ten Ultra Grunts, where my beloved car is almost completely destroyed, and I am killed soon after.
