I'm shocked to see that NO ONE has mentioned the upcoming Tales game for the Wii!
It doesn't have a name yet, but the sheer sight of the trailer made me cry out of happiness.(I didn't really cry, but I WAS really happy)

hmm anyone KILLZONE 2 it gona be tight and god of war 3 and final fantasy 13 cause well i havent played any other FF but everyone say its good so might as well like there is anyone other game but i might that mad world game looks fun and original black and white havent seen that in a game in a long time might be epic or a really big fail

um this is most unknown game not "Americas most hyped!" and besides FFXIII isn't coming out next year in any other country than japan most likely. Don't get me wrong there all most likely gonna rock but apparently some of you don't get the post.

well i dont know any unknown game well because there unknown but borderlands seems well fasinating with its randomness its meight to have over i billion variyations of guns and over 600 million vehicles seems like a bunch of bull but ya never know

That was kinda my point - it's as "unknown" as anything else. Since the entire industry is based on hype & expectation it's virtually impossible to look forward to an "unknown" game.

About as obscure as I've seen this year would probably be Hearts of Iron 3, which would hardly qualify---most PC strategy gamers/grognards have it at the top of their "must have" list this year along with Empire:Total War.

i haven't heard ANYONE talking about it at all, which is surprising.

but i think it's going to kick ass, because i love metal music and i love medieval fantasy hack 'n' slashers, so that's like nerdgasm to me

Fire emblem Shadow Dragon, I'm not a fan of too many RPGs but fire emblem really does an awesome job of blending RPG elements, with strategy. Even if it is a pain in the ass when about an hour into a battle, you lose a valuable character to a wild arrow shot... Makes me want to break something...

I'm constantly baffled by how little attention Borderlands is getting. I'm a sucker for the Unreal Engine, plus it has 600.000 different guns, the ability to customize vehicles/characters, levelling system etc. If this game turns out the way I'm hoping it will, I'm going to play it until my crotch explodes.
