I've actually seen this thread before. It was this during month actually.
Talk about sweet sweet irony.
But everything is kinda new to me. I guess in a month I'll be able to tell you.

I don't like the "What's with all the hate on ______" threads.

Some people just don't like certain things, m'kay?

Personally, my top 5 thread types that need to die are:
1.) Anything to do with Zombies (Overdone and overused. Period.)
2.) Anything to do with superpowers (Sorry, it's just not as clever the 1576th time)
3.) Anything to do with piracy (it may be an interesting debate, but it's been done so many times and no one is changing their minds so you may as well just copy and paste the last time it was done)
4.) Anything to do with Halo (love the game/series but they always devolve into flamefests)
5.) Anything that starts with "Am I the only one.. " (No, you're not.. just like you would have noticed if you'd bothered to take 3 seconds with the search bar)

"Your favorite video game music"

Same god damn thread every single time. No variation, just people listing off some of their favorite music from video games., But this thread crops up at least once a week, even though multiple versions of this thread appear when you use the search bar. So rather than having this one big vault thread of all this music, we get the same people posting the same pieces of music over and over again because new threads pop up and replace the old ones.

Also anything that has to do with zombies. I'm so sick of people thinking they are going to be masters of an unrealistic and illogical apocalypse because they read some fake survival guide.

I just noticed my typo in that post. I should really read what I say before I click the post button. lol

Trust me, the longer you're here, the more you'll see the same threads, every single day. The trends I see the most right now are probably: the mandatory 2-5 Zombie Apocalypse threads, Justin Bieber going to North Korea (which is finally dying down now), relationship help (which is always the exact same problem in every thread), and the 'please watch my youtubes, because I'm desperate and my ideas are too uninteresting to get any views any other way' threads.

And that's just the off-topic section.

Yes, I'm definitely starting to see a pattern here. Seen some zombie survivalism, then some Bieber.
I hate to ask, but why are these peoples till making those threads?

I've only seen a few but I don't think I'd ever really get annoyed by zombie threads, it's something I can go on about for hours, and listen to people go on about for hours, and not be done, which I guess is why it keeps coming up, other people feel the same way.

I have no idea. I guess they just can't think of anything interesting, or original, so they just go for what they see other people doing or something.

relationship help (which is always the exact same problem in every thread)
Which is always coupled with that one guy who always posts "your question answered in this other topic" instead of just answering the fucking thing there as if his advice will be any better or different than the standard crap everyone else is telling them.
I am half considering making my own version of that thread and anytime someone has a issue just linking them to my version which will have nothing but this [http://a.imageshack.us/img28/503/testicleprescription.jpg] posted for each one.
I know exactly who you mean. I hate seeing that guy always do that. He just seems like he wants attention because he thinks he's some like, relationship master or something. It's not like any random user on the site can't do exactly what he does anyway. lol

I'll definitely keep all of this in mind when I make a thread. See? This was useful after all. We got to chat too!
