Metal Gear Solid 2: Fortune, when it actually turned out she was 'Lady Luck' i nearly threw the controller at the screen it was so out of place in a game that usually so neatly explained phenomena like that - even if the technology is years and years off, it was still AN explanation.
This may have been said further in the topic but near the end Ocelot explains that its all magnetic fields repelling the bullets so it is explained tbf on Kojima most things in the franchise are even if they are farfetched

call of duty.

hands down
WRONG SIR! the World War two games were pretty realistic, especially the first one. Only Modern warfare/ MW2 are the exceptions.

Any shooter where u cant get a 1 headshot kill
sorry it didnt quote the first time...
Why dont you go take a .50cal to the head and see if you live

Not even this will protect you from a 50 cal. Only MW2 decided that it would. But put a 50 cal. towards any part of your body and your still dead.

you have a good point there...it will tear limbs off
im am a lucky person who has seen a .50cal or something real close (pretty sure .50cal)...and it riped the metal holder for the target off the pole

The ending of the first Uncharted with all the zombie monster things. The whole game had no paranormal things then all of a sudden your being eaten by zombies. Made no sense to me.
It was hinted a bit. In Chapter 13 when you discover that guy impaled on parts from your plane
Also in Chapter 16 Nate sees something (as long as you press Up on the D-Pad) scurry across ahead of you. I like the change however, completly changed my style of play.
the ending of unchartd 2 made fuck all sense too. how did those... things get their powers? wasnt it already established that only three people in history had ever aquired the chintimati stone? how else would those things have gotten their powers?

I forget the title, but it was an NES game where you played as a chef and there was giant food that opposed you in some manner. I really have very little memory of it, other than the fact that even at a young age, full of creativity and a non jaded world view, I thought "What the hell?!"
burgertown perhaps?

One of the first games that seriously made me go 'wft' was Katamari Damaci. But now it's just made of pure awesomeness. But it is late, and I can't think of any game-breaking wtf's. Tragic really.

The entire perk system of the more recent call of duty games, especially MW2, is completely retarded. I could be wrong, but i think its impossible to teleport forwards past your target, knife the air, and kill him. (lookin' at you, commando.)

I'd have to say that the most unrealistic game ever was Impossible Creatures. Its probably the most fun game I've ever played, but combining a sperm whale and a zebra just doesn't seem quite right.

Oblivion would have to be it for me.
(Before the people reply and tell me why I'm wrong, I have been playing Oblivion for a loooong time and its the first thing that popped into my head. Don't judge me)
Oblivion, but for different reasons. Claymore should not take a number of hits into almost triple figures to kill someone. Just no.

There was No Chintamni stone. It was the Resin. Those Guardians (purple monsters and the guys dressed in the Yeti outfits) drank the resin and became monsters. Like Lazarevic he healed and was much stronger. Over time he would of looked like one of those as well.

Phoenix Downs in Final Fantasy games... so wait, you can revive people in combat but not outside of it... well fuck you Aeris!!!

Also, Lost odyssey did it right, in the first cinematic, you see mages reviving people with magic.

MW2 the airport mission (Somebody had to say it.) The fact that you couldn't just stop the whole event from happening because you had to "Keep your cover" is just absurd.
More absurd is that absolutely eyeroll & facepalm inducing snowmobile section.

Honestly. That made my eyes roll down the street. Took an hour to find them, you know. And the handling of the bloody thing showed us all why Infantile Ward never includes driveable vehicles!

Indigo Prophecy - Running from giant green bugs, fighting a creation spawned by the internet.

What started off as a serious piece with the whole murder, investigation and intrigue gets totally thrown off the rails.

I'm concerned that Heavy Rain will go the same way.

Norman Jayden: "Look! It's the Origami Killer!"
Bystander: "No way!. . . He's. . . made out of sentient PAPER?!?!????"

and so on.
