What is the most eerie/disturbing/ outright creepy song you have ever heard. For me it has to be this
and combined with this video it is just pure creepy

actually I found that rather soothing

well if we're talking for videos it's a tie between these two:

but if we're talking lyrics-wise it's a tie between these two, by the same group

EDIT: might post more later, I've got a ton XD

This takes the biscuit I'm afraid. Tiny Tim frightens me... How can he make a song about Tulips so terrifying
Tiptoe through the tulips

There is one song by the offspring called guitine or something like that and its all about chopping peoples heads off and getting off on that, its the most fucked up song the ever did and after hearing that I ditched the cd.

1. I don't remember the name of the song, but the music video had three alien-fish people in business suits opening an apple at a table. That gave me the shudders for a few hours.

2. This song from Akira (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8b9BuP8rkTE). Some of it is beautiful, but the gamelan parts (the bells) just make me want to hide.

Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin is pretty unsettling, although most of their videos are god damn weird.

The Se7en opening credits is also disturbing (a remix of Closer by Nine Inch Nails).

Anything from Mr.Bungle's 'Disco Volante' album, all of the songs on that are just incredible.

OOH, I saw it a long time ago, can't quite remember the name though. If it comes to me, I'll post it here.

Pink Floyd in general unsettles me. I don't know what it is about him, but I just can't listen to him unless I am aiming to make myself feel uncomfortable.

A song by Hollywood Undead called Bullet. The singing and the music sound all happy, but the song is about suicide.

Really? What's not to love about decapitations!

No, really though it's all a joke, I find this song hilarious.
I bet you cut off your ears after listening to Cannibal Corpse.

Far away the most directly uncomfortable "song" I can think of. Rice's material generally copulates with controversy, as part of his schtick, but the discomfort intensity radiating off this one is like staring into a laser through a microscope.

Anyway, listen to this if you want to empty a room and lose friends. I guess there's a strange kind of utility in that.

Yes yes I know its all ironic and shit but I heard that when I was like 11 or 12 and it falls under the heading of the sort of thing that makes me want to punch someone for.

I don't remember if this was posted on The Escapist before or not, but I heard the song and it made me uncomfortable and sad, and it's haunting above all else. The title says everything you need to know.

Plush, by the Stone Temple Pilots, always gives me the creeps. However, at the same time, it's one of my favourite songs. Strange world, huh?

Before anyone flames you, Pink Floyd are a band, not a person. Unless this is a joke?

Aphex Twin are awesome, definitely that.

It's cool. I am assuming you mean when I said "him" in regards to the band? True the word "them" would have been a better replacement, but when I used the "word" him I was meaning the entire band....Kinda like how some vehicle owners give genders to their cars or bikes...same thing. I admit though it was a grammatical accident though I think it could work both ways....But here I am talking about grammar....Best not to derail the topic. xD

Since Japanese isn't my native language (or indeed, a language I'm able to comprehend on any decent level), the creepiness of this disturbing song is mostly lost on me. That being said though, I have of course looked up a translated version of the lyrics and, coupled with the music video...well, you tell me what it's about

Dir en Grey are...or were (haven't seen recent videos) really good at making disturbing music videos. Mazohyst of Decadence wins out over videos and songs like Obscure, Saku, etc because of the subject matter and the abortion and whatnot.

And that's why I love that song so much. :D

I'd probably have a lot to offer this thread if I listened to death metal or black metal.

Oh. I've got one.

Really almost any song by Polkadot Cadaver, actually. Todd Smith is quite the interesting song writer.

The is probably one of the more unsettling videos I've ever seen, though the song doesn't really matter.

You want distrubing songs, try just about anything by Anal **** or GG Allin. The content is usually just pretty stupid, but the fact that they even exist...
