Tools in Mount&Blade. What the hell? They are just there. They provide no purpose.

Hey did you know there's a poison blade in Assassin's Creed 2?

I know right.
i like using it for more stealthy kills or sneaking in places when the guards cant be persuaded by dropping coins just poke an innocent guy (or preferably a bard)and let him draw the attention towards himself and away from you.

the rock-it launcher in fall out 3 i scoured the command prompt for the parts for it and when i finally spawned enough baseballs for it i went to take on some raider scum and after 100 shots i had to spawn another 100 shots to finish off the first raider the bugger took off some of my health also

and ajunta pauls poison blade in SW:KotOR i mean i have laser swords by then and the option of a force ability with a dc of 100 to resist that poisons AND slows

What about the BB gun in Fallout 3? You could get it, but outside the vault, it was total ass. Which is a shame, because it was intended that there was to be a unique version that might actually have been a capable firearm.

Also, this may be controversial, but I rarely ever actually used Stimpaks. Only in Broken Steel when madness took over and Sentry Bots and Feral Ghoul Reavers occupied every inch of the screen. I have about 327 now.

I don't think I ever used the chemical thrower in Bioshock, or most of the plasmids.
I can understand the chemical thrower; it was sort of awkward. However, I find it hard to believe that you hardly used the plasmids. It seems like you waste a lot of ammo that way.

The MP7 in Battlefield 2.
Oh god that thing was a 2nd tier unlock and it was dead useless...it's effective range was just about knifing range, and it was a 6 shot kill...even more useless since the FIRST tier weapon for the same class was an auto-shotty.

Final Fantasy XIII Summons - didn't use them at all because it seemed like bosses/monsters were never that dire to actually go for it.
Come to think of it, Final Fantasy XII's summons didn't see that much use either. Apart from summoning the first one to open this one door, what was the point of having those Espers in the first place?

the fucking fan in super smash.god that thing is a p.o.s.
Not true at all, throw it at someone when they're jumping back onto the stage. Can anyone say meteor smash?

OT: I actually don't know, anything that comes to mind seems to have some sort of use one way or another.

First of all the M in ATM stands for Machine so you basically said Automated Teller Machine Machine. =P The only game you need to look to for useless items is Oblivion and Fallout 3, empty cans, paint brushes, crates etc. =P

The only ones I ever used in combat were telekenisis or the lightining, and even then that was only occasionally. I probably used a lot more ammo than most players, but there was never a situation where I ran out of ammo mid fight.

Any kind of special ammo in any game.

I always save that shit and in the end I have huge amounts of magnum bullets and super laser clips or something like that.

Really? I haven't PvP'd in WotLK, but we used to use them quite a lot in premades and in AV back in the day.
