TF2 bug that allows you to jump farther and higher by pressing crouch after you jump.
That's not a bug, it's in every source game.
Abused in CSS to jump over desks and other low objects. Sometimes used to jump on top of other players and reach new areas.

I also played Half life over LAN with a friend, and it somehow bugged making him extremly fast, think it had something to do with him having dual core proccesors, and some technical stuff i didn't get. Anyways, he could run past trip mines, because he was long gone b4 they exploded, he empried clips in no time, and when i saw him and started shooting, he could run all the way around the map and hit me extremely fast with the crowbar b4 i had empied half a clip.
That sounds more like a speed hack or severe lag than a dual core related bug.
well i sad next to him, and i know he wasn't using a hack... He was as suprised himself, and it was everything he did, running, attackspeed (rate fo fire) and reload speed.
It stopped when he temporarily disabled one of his cores
Ahh, i'm going to have to agree on that being a hack though, the games you your system clock to keep track of things like rate of fire, reload, and running, so no matter how fast your system your not going to do any better. But would be useful for people who spend 10k on computer if they got those advantages, lucky for me they don't (I use budget PC sadly)

In Rome: Total War you can lift ANY SIEGE by attack your attack before they build any siege equipment. Then you can shoot them with arrows from affar.

you can do that!? all that wasted time(*sob*).
as for the bug, I guess the oblivion replicating bug.
Oh the watermelon fun I've had on hills.... :D
Oh, and not useful persay in gameplay, but useful in terms of giving me and friends hours of fun was the minigun exploit in L4D (sadly fixed now) - was also useful for certain achievments...

My most favorite bug would have to be at the end of Conkers Bad Fur Day. Most useful one I've ever seen.

I can't believe everyone missed one of the most useful bugs in any game, the Missingno cheat in Pokemon Blue and Red. It's not really a cheat because it was not put in deliberately however was extremely useful. Go hundreds of Rare Candies

U just explained what i could not, he did have a powerhouse comp (it was a powerhouse at the time) and it was much faster than mine. The reason i'm not calling ti a hack is because i consider hacks to be stuff like aimbots and wallhack, which is specificly made to cheat. his game just bugged because his system clock messed up with the old game / dual core

In the original neverwinter nights there was a red dragon that was supposedly the most single powerfull mortal in the world...and he couldn't walk through his own doors. Basicly when the fight started I'd pick the lock run through the door and close it of and let computer run for 15-20 minutes while my rogue pelts it with crossbow bolts.

Oh, and in metroid zero mission at the last boss you could constantly screw-attack/float in the upper left corner of the screen and the boss couldn't hit you. I found this out myself and so far haven't seen it any cheat website.

Oh that NvN comment got me thinking of Baldurs gate 2 where you could click to talk to a dragon, then when you walked towards it, you would change your order to attack. The dragon could go halfway through it's healthbar or something b4 it began fighting back :p
