I reckon barbas is the best cause he doesn't take damage at all and is a great distraction tool for enemies. Easy to take down dragon priest with him. (temporary follower but yeah just dont finish his quest) can be a pain for sneaking though
Not really, the companions are usually Mercenaries, so theyre just in it for the meager loot i give them.DustyDrB said:Do any of them have much of a backstory? I've just been using Lydia and I'm pretty disappointed.
So I checked the Elder Scrolls Wiki on the followers and I have one major issue with the way followers work. Aparently the followers are set to the players level whenever the player enters their zone, I honestly need some confirmation on this, it seems like this leaves most of the companions useless at later levels and I have no idea if this zone is limited to the city or specific building they are found in, also wheter of not their level is set to the players upon talking to them or recruiting them. A minor yet still gameplay enhancing thing that I wish they put in the game is having two followers at once for the classic warrior, rogue, spellcaster adventuring party, or any combination of the three, in fact I still haven't tested if that glitch from fallout is still in effect so this could be possible.cricketer15 said:I reckon barbas is the best cause he doesn't take damage at all and is a great distraction tool for enemies.
