Most useless item in a game?

As the title suggests... what is the most useless item in a game that you have encountered? Mine would have to be the ship missile expansions in Metroid Prime 3... You only use them to proceed through the game, and ammo is plentiful. You also get the expansions after you use three( the orgignal max) in relatively quick succesion. You can't use them in combat, unless I'm missing something... useless!

The shurikens in Ninja Gainden 2, you can throw fucking hundreds of the things and they hardly do any damage at all. They are only good for something to throw while your in the air and look more ninja like, but still, hardly any damage.

Pretty sure you can call it in for air strikes in areas with no ceiling .

AS for most useless, either the cutlery in Oblivion, or the stopwatch sub weapon in Castlevania is always a pretty poor sub weapon sure it stops time but it can make it doesn't extend your range and can put enemies in awkward spots to hit or avoid.
