Pretty much all spells in Fable 2 except Slow Time, Lightning and the AoE fire one (for trolls).

Nightvision goggles on Counterstrike Source... never used them.

I found the gun on Assassin's Creed 2 pointless.

Many of the Fallout 3 perks, including:

Lead Belly
Swift Learner (it's already easy as hell to level up)
Bloody Mess
Rad Resistance
Devil's Highway & Escalator to Heaven & Karmic Rebalance
Nuclear Anomaly

The gun, pointless? Are you kidding me? It's fun as hell to run around and randomly shoot at people/guards. I'm sure Ubisoft put it in as an afterthought, but it's a fun afterthought once you finish the game.

solar powered perk from Fallout 3.
I actually Liked that one. It was nice to get the extra strength points and a little health never hurt.

I got beat by somebody but I really do believe the Fast Learner perk in Fallout 3 is completely worthless. The Mysterious Stranger always seemed patently unnecessary to me as well.

Um, most in things Fallout 3...
elaborate please...
Well, the Solar one and Night time one are useless, as well Lady Killer and Child Inside...honestly, all you need to do is check up on any FAQ that explains how to get "THE BEST 10/10 character" and you'll how see how useless some of them are.
yeah the lady killer and night time perks were pretty useless. Hopefully New Vegas will have lots of good perks to accompany the awesome game play that will come before it.

Animal Friend perk in Fallout 3.

Seriously... why?
Pft that perk made going through Yao Guai tunnels a lot easier!
I only used it on my second play through though.

UNTIL LEVEL THIRTY SUMMAT AND THEN IT GOES SUPA!

<3 Gyrados.
How do you level him up without giving him to that old couple?
You put it out first in every combat, then switch it to a more useful character, so they will share EXP. In later on, this will be more simple using EXP share. *ahem* To topic:

I might be a bit uncreative with using tools and such, but I almost never use scopes and thing that gives you the ability to look far, such as Eagle Eye (hunter in WoW) or the Brass Telescope from Demon's souls.
Sure, it can be fun, but meh... Maybe I havn't gotten to the point where it's useful yet.
I mean is there a way that actually involves him doing things.

Hover in War for Cyberton. Oh sure it makes my weapons more powerful, but now I'm just floating in place, in plain sight of every enemy on the map just asking to get shot to death in seconds!

I haven't really gotten far enough into it to really be judging the gameplay, but some of the skills in The Witcher seem to be a tad bit odd. Like if I don't drink a lot of alcohol in the game (and therefore am not drunk most of the time) why would I want a skill that only increases my stats if i'm wasted the whole time? And on top of that why would I want a skill that decreases the duration of my intoxication when my stats are only boosted while I am intoxicated?

so freakin death claws dont attack you!
Death Claws still do attack you with that perk. It only affects dogs, mole rats, brahmin, and Yao Guai.

By level 10, Yao Guai are no longer a threat, and you can't even take the perk until then. I found it's only useful to make hunting easier - walk right up to a Yao Guai and BAM! It's dead, you can harvest its valuable flesh.
thats right, yao guai was what i was thinking of

Any games that give you a "level up instantly for free" kind of perk, (I'm looking at you, Fallout 3), and then have the audacity to give you a level cap. It's like "Hey, have an uber power-up early!", "Hey, thanks!", "Oh yeah, now you're one level closer to the highest and you just wasted a perfectly good point to put in a perk, you could've held fifty more pounds of irradiated wasteland gear with that perk, assmunch."

The Creeping Dark in the Darkness. Getting vertigo while being a vent popping snake! Completely practical, when 90% of the enemies know where you are before you do.

The ability to steal women in Overlord 2. Need I say more?

EXP. Share or just switching him out at the beginning of each battle! :D

Ahhh, the good old days. Praise be to R4/Edge cards so I can relive those Pokémoments without paying a single dime. Oh the theft, the piracy. The joys.
