This right here.
I knew I wouldn't be the first to mention The Klob on a thread with 8 pages.

Other than that, the foam-pellet guns in Dead Rising and possibly 2. You know, the ones based off of the NERF guns and whatnot. They don't really do anything and even in DR2 when you add fire, it has a very subtle effect. Then again, next to the Chain-Cycle and the machine-gun wheelchair, just about everything seems subtle.

The Nemesis in Cave Story, sure it's powerful if you know how to use it right, but it's a lot of maintenance to either switch weapons when collecting triangles, or hurting yourself to charge it down. probably doesn't help the areas that might really need it are cluttered with enemies, making it hard to dodge triangles. 0,0

Probably be yelled out for claiming the Nemesis as a 'useless weapon', though to be fair, the weapon you have to give up to obtain it was alright, it's stage 2 was great for some bosses due to its increased power and lack of extra flying things the level 3 version has, a notable case being an earlier Boss long before you can get the Nemesis....

Actually if you find all 6 clues, it does 100 damage and has 5 augmentation slots

The Dragon's Grasp form Dreamkiller.

I know that it's the default weapon, and all, but...

The primary fire is a flamethrower with such crappy range (and the animation makes it really hard to tell how far it'll hit), so that whenever you use it you're likely to be getting hit by the enemy while you're hitting them.

Secondary fire is a bit better. You can charge it up and then hit multiple enemies with Telekinesis for average damage. But the problem is that using the secondary fire drains your "concentration" really really fast, making it useless in "subconscious zones" where your concentration decreases over time, and you start to take damage if it's empty. >_<

And this is in a "Serious Sam" style run-and-gun shooter. I don't see why ANYONE would use that weapon over a gatling gun with a rocket launcher attached, or a shotgun that fires infinite amounts of deadly snow (and can freeze guys with the secondary fire), or ANY of the other weapons. I replace that shit as soon as freakin possible.

Even the NPCs realise how useless this thing is - they use it to pin notices to walls. Fuck, the Khajiit can beat this weapon in unarmed combat.

FatMan from Fallout 3.
It causes "save for later, never use" syndrome. :|
I wouldn't call it "useless", Mini Nukes sell for like 200 caps a pieace, AND their weightless. Pretty good to keep around on a rainy day

If anyone here's ever played it, turrets in Galaxy on Fire 2 are almost never actually useful. If the enemy is weak enough that you can deal with it using the turret, it's much faster to just turn around and fight, even if you're headed to a warp gate or something. Low level mining drills too, but those aren't weapons.
I would have strongly disagree. The auto turrets own. Get an auto turret on the bigass hauler and it can hold its own against most pirate gangs. 4 black holes the voosk armor and good shields and the invul shield for those times you have to use a hail Mary (big nuke).

Mainly because it was a legitimate weapon that was everywhere, but good for absolutely nothing but levelling/smithing.

On a similar note, Your Eternal Reward. You can't disguise and decloaking is painfully slow, so you're reduced to using good 'ol fashioned stealth to avoid enemies until you backstab one. And when you do, they just tell their friends over voice chat.
YER can be fantastic against pubs with poor communication. You can absolutely destroy with it if you play on the right maps, know where the ammo boxes are and are against a bad team. Against any mildly good team with communication, it's useless though.

OT: If you could count the dalahkos bar or however it's spelled, a weapon, then I'd say that. If not, bonesaw compared to anything else, the syringe gun or the razorback.

the fork of horripilation from Morrowind. It is completely useless.
Wasn't that the weapon the Prince of Madness gives you to kill some beastie with it? After the quest he gives you a magic spear or something. And you could cheat by whittling down the health of the monster with a different weapon then delivering the fatal blow with the fork
