This is inspired by the Troper Tales page on TV Tropes.

What is one sound you just love to hear? It can be a voice, a song, or just a sound you really like.

I have a few to get started. I love the sound of rain, particularly on the roof of a house. I love pretty much any sound from a violin or a set of bagpipes. I also am a fan of vehicles in general, and my car in particular; I love the sound of an engine.

The voices of Ron Perlman, Morgan Freeman, and Patrick Stewart are like chocolate covered gravel, a full steak dinner, and molasses, respectively.

Finally, I love this sound:

Discuss your own, and share them if at all possible.

P.S. I didn't include any actual songs, because honestly, if I were to do that, we'd be here all night.

The sound it makes in Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas whenever you level up.

A good women's choir. Computers can generate the sound of nearly any instrument, but they can't yet create such a holy sound as this

A crackling fire.
No scratch that, a crackling fire w/ rain outside.

80s synths. As evidenced by an amazing song...

This is pretty good too.(I do prefer the Escape From L.A. version though)

Opening a can of coke. Just so damn satisfying. Even better if it's cold and you actually drink it.

Oh and Christopher Lee.

The wind blowing through trees, the cello, the sound of water lapping on the sides of a boat, cat meows, the crackling of a (controlled) fire, the sounds of turning the pages of a book, Stephen Fry's voice, the humming of crickets, the sound of a screen door opening/closing. I could probably keep going, but you guys probably get the idea.

"Monster Kill" and "Massacre" in UT3. Its just so satisfying to hear those both, one after another.
