Mother 3 will likely NEVER come out in North America, and here's why...

I think the main reason would be the small fanbase, not the copyrighted work.

And if they took legal action against Nintendo for that... That would just be sad.
Copyright laws and trademark laws are very tricky beast. You need to prove that you are actively protecting your copyrights or your trademarks otherwise you lose your copyright. It's not so much that you're suing for money, in many cases you need to actively show the copyright court that you have and do protect and enforce your copyright. It's not a perfect system, but it's what there is.

Yes there is, but you need a japanese copy of it, ROMS are impossible to find for some reason.
Not really. Go to Starmen.net, they have a link to the unofficial Mother 3 translation.

I don't know it's already been 20 years since it was released so ya no chance.
What?

The GBA hasn't even been around for 20 years.
Maybe he was talking about the date shown in Earthbound video, and thought that was the game being talked about. Also really bad at math?

Or gasp! Maybe he is posting from the future!

Well even Earthbound hasn't even been around for 20 years.

Also, Earthbound is Mother 2, not Mother 1.

As some of my fellow escapists have already said, it would not be difficult to change the music. Hell, Mother 3 and Earthbound have gotten so much hype here in America they could take the music out and replace it with nothing and it'd still sell great. They could even take it a step further and replace the music with Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up," effectively rickrolling every single person who bought the game, and it'd still sell like no body's business.

Freakout456: makes a mistake.

Internet Kraken: Calls him on his mistake.

Me: Makes a joke about the mistake.

Freakout456: Corrects his mistake with another one.

Internet Kraken: Points this out again.
I knew a kid while in Tech School for the military that would lie her ass off. Every time someone called her on it she would just tell another lie. We tried for the full 11 months we had classes together to get her to admit something was false. In the end it just became a joke, where we would tell her false facts and fake stories to see which ones she would repeat as her own.

This sounds like someone potentially needing a psychiatric check-up, IMO. Google for "compulsive lying".
(Not necessarily mutually exclusive with what you did, which is milking her for the lulz.)
