Motherboard and CPU Question.

I've been thinking of upgrading my CPU to the Intel Core 2 Wolfdale processor.
Right now I have an ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 Motherboard. According to all information I can find on it it should be able to support this core. Anyone got any more information or help about this?

Yup, it should work. Judging by Newegg, Core 2 Duo Wolfdale [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131243] is an LGA 775 as well, so the two should match up perfect.

EDIT: Seems I jumped the gun in guessing which Wolfdale you wanted to use, but the one you've picked out looks like it'll work too.

The mobo dose not seem all that, good for standard usage gaming or other wise but nto so much for tweaking/OCing.. (of coarse I am one to say I got a MSI pn7 platinum for 170$ and the fcker dose not clock well at all can only change the FSB,PCI-X or ramm speed damnit I thought the NF boards were built better than that...)
