How much does it cost though? Like monthly or yearly rate? I've always been curious. The only reason I haven't bought a bike is I heard horror stories of insurance figures in the multi thousands per year on cheap bikes.
If you just have liability like 10-30 bucks a month maybe if even that much. If you have full coverage prepare to dish out 200+ a month

1) When entering a corner and throughout, look at where you want to go. The body is a much more integral part of the motorcycle than driving a car, object fixation (such as looking at a barrier on the outside of the corner) can really fuck things up if you lose concentration.

2) When leaning right, a tiny bit of pressure on the right bar will help the bike tip in more easily. Vice/versa for left turns.

3) Wear leathers all the time. I hit the road at 20mph without leathers back when I was 17......it fucking hurts!

4) Always let people know what you're doing. Don't muck about hiding in peoples blind spots, just be assertive. But don't forget, everyone else is out to kill you.

5) I recorded myself recently to see how my body position looked, just to see if I could improve. I don't think this is too bad an example of how to ride 'spiritedly'!

Reminds me of the reverse shots they have during footage of road races like the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT, which reminds me: I appear to have missed the Cookstown 100 footage on the BBC iPlayer this year.
The problem is they just don't advertise motorcycle racing enough. Hopefully ITV will do us proud with their TT coverage!

Whatever you do, do not play children's card games while riding a motorcycle. It is not as easy as it looks.

Ok first, get something bigger than 125cc, you are only a beginner for 2-4 months and that bike is not going to cut it after you adjust, especially on the highway.

Second, besides a helmet and leather clothing get protective gloves.

Third, people will intentionally harass you on the road, some people have an irrational disposition towards motorcycles and they take it out on you. Watch out for them.

Fourth. people have a superiority complex around motorcycles and may feel the right to force you into the shoulder lane so they can pass you without changing lanes.
