Mouse Sensitivity

Basically, on a scale from 1-10, how do you Escapists like your mouse sensitivity on PC games? (Shooter, RTS, etc).

For me, I usually have it in the middle around 4-5, for games such as TF2 and other such shooters, but for when I play RE5(as if you couldn't tell), I have it set around 3, because I need precision when I'm taking out my B.O.Ws, so the slowed down speed helps me aim better...also my hands jitter a bit. While my brother can't play any sort of shooter without it being around 7-8

Mouse? Pretty high, I like being able to turn quickly. The same with Console shooters. At first, it's a little imprecise, but after a few minutes, it just feels natural.

About 3 or so on most games I suppose. I'm too lazy to change that number so I just adjust my mouse's DPI settings to match individual games.

6 because any higher and i cant kill anything. any lower and i cant kill anything because i turn to slow.

10 at 1800dpi - pretty fast. My mouse doesn't go any higher, but i wouldn't want it to.

Edit: oh hey there is a way to make it higher.

I tend to favor the lower end of the scale for mice and higher for joysticks.

6 or 7, it really depends on what genre I'm playing, though.

If I can't turn around, I'm dead.

However, that's just for FPSs. For RTS, I prefer to have a fairly low setting (4-5).

I have my sensitivity highish on my desktop with sensitivity settings in control pannel settings lowish with mouse DPI at 4000 so I have to move the mouse about 2/3 of a mouse width to move from one side of my screen to the other (22" 1920x1080), keep it like that for all games except FPS games in which I have quite low sensitivity in the game settings while keeping DPI as high as possible while still making the sensitivity low, generally a bit less than 3 mouse widths for a complete 180. My mouse is just over 7cm wide

I like it low... but not too low... 3-4-ish range for PC FPSs, and either the lowest or second lowest setting for anything on the consoles. Depends on game as well.

8. I use small movements with everything other than an FPS so I'm still fairly precise, but I can speed that up instantly if need be.
