So i just used a mouse trap to catch a mouse for the first time of my life . I'm not used to seeing dead animals (?) , it was a very disgusting experience . Just seeing it laying there , it's bead caught in the trap , dead . I don't hunt , never had any pets , the worst iv'e seen was a dead bird in the street . With the mouse , i heard when it got caught . The trap sprung , and there was clattering for about a minute afterwards. Not an instant death . I felt bad . Iv'e never killed anything before ( outside of videogames ). Then i wondered what it'd feel like to be caught in a trap .

There are plenty of traps for all kinds of animals , from mice , to birds to bears . Now while there are no human traps ( thankfully ) i did wonder . How would someone trap a human , if they wanted to .

So my question is :" if you wanted to trap a human , what would you use?"

Needless to say this isn't a super serious thread , so wacky , crazy answers are also welcomed.

An all pervasive and destructive social trend, normalised to the extent that imagining living some other way is strange and frightening.

Pretty much anything from the Saw movies. Not pretty :S

As much as I agree that mice are pests, I too feel really bad if I see one struggling in a trap and probably experiencing more pain than I'll ever experience before finally breathing it's last. The ants I accidentally step on in the street get quicker deaths than that :(

If you want to make the perfect trap you have to tailor it to the person.

Sexuality, that's the primary tool that I'd use in this situation. Get someone who is sexually attractive to the person to lure them in, and then strike.

This might be the most intelligent and most cruel thing I have read all day.

OT:
this:

seems to be the smartest way, even though the lure may vary.
