I have never watched a movie made by Uwe Boll but after just watching several of his interviews on Youtube - it is apparent he has clear ideas of why he is making movies based on computer games. His ideas makes good business sense.

I have a concept for a movie that I have been thinking about for months and seeing Uwe Boll's interviews has has given me more encouragement to start writing the script.
I intend to submit the script to Uwe Boll via the email address on his website.
What are my chances of getting a focused response from Uwe Boll.

I intend to watch as many Uwe Boll movies as a I can over the next few weeks while I write my script.
I will update the thread on the progress.

Anyone know any better methods, contacts to communicate with Uwe Boll ?

Director of interest notwithstanding, people in the movie business don't take scripts from just anyone off the street with an idea. Unless you've got some kind of renown where you live, I don't see it happening.
EDIT:

Now that's just unnecessary. Does it matter what filmmaker he wants to reach?

You do realize that most of his movies are terrible, right?

This also will come into play.

I don't think people actually like him around here.

[sub]I hear he massacres defenceless video games... how horrible...[/sub]

And I don't think he would listen to any Ideas... unless it's cheap to make and based on a defenceless game.

The main question is WHY would you want to contact that horrible "film maker" (I use the term film maker because it gets a laugh). All his movies have been thrashed by virtually every critic in the world and is is more hated in the gaming community than Michael Atkinson.

My advice is to just sign the petion to stop Uwe Boll from making movies, send your ideas to someone more credible and hope that Boll will hang up the towel soon.

The only movie of his that I actually watched was Postal. Believe it or not I actually found it to be somewhat funny in a really awful sort of way (seriously, it's probably one of the most offensive films I have ever seen). The rest of his films I won't even touch because they look so goddamn horrible.

If you send him something, best case scenario is he challenges you for a boxing match in order to claim ownership of the script.

Wait, wait let me get this straight, you have an idea for a film. Which as you said was encourged by a Uwe Boll interview. Now you want to contact this man as well as watch many of his films. My fellow escapist lets all have a moment of silence for surely this man will die of boredom and shock.

Uwe Boll must have good business sense if he is able convince people you invest in numerous films.
I have watched several of his interviews and he sounds sensible, I am watching "Dinner with Uwe Boll" at present on Youtube. Insightful interview.

This is a positive review of one of his latest films.

Ummm, he finances his movies himself due to a loophole in German tax law.

And also because no one in their right mind would finance him.

But why would you want to watch his movies. That's way too much punishment for any human being to endure.

Lol, I suggest you actually watch his movies before you even consider this. Seriously, I don't think you have any idea whatsoever what you are wanting to get into. I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but you just need to know. Also I'm pretty sure he wouldn't just take a script from someone with no reputation or experience.

I believe that the tax laws that you refer to are now closed and Uwe Boll will have to find other means to fund his films.

It seems as if Uwe Boll is open to offers of funding from the people. Maybe if I can get a few thousand dollars together, I might have a chance to present my script to him.
I believe there are tax breaks in Britain that may allow Uwe Boll to reduce the cost of any future films.

The link is old but Mr Boll might be open to offers for future projects.

All right, but the question remais as to why you want to watch his films. 99.99% percent of them give garbage a bad name. You will literally die of their horribleness before you get halfway through "Alone in the Dark". Listen to the Austin...Here on the Escapist, Boll is public enemey #1.

And FYI, Boll has a Ph.D in literature. Let's all have a moment of silence to weep for humanity.

I like it. People decry all of his stuff, but regardless of quality, this is a script, your vision that you will be able to see in motion (so long as he doesn't have someone redraft it, maybe it could be part of a contract or something) I would love for something like that to happen. I should have dropped him some money way back when and got on set of postal.
