Scott Pilgrim.

In one scene, One of the Character says something about knowing how to play the Final Fantasy 2 Battle Music Riff on Guitar THEN HE PLAYS THE FINAL FANTASY 4 BATTLE MUSIC. GRAGH!

I think I'm being a bit unfair on the movie. It's just.... ARGH! I FUCKING HATE HIPSTERS!

I agree about Avatar. The main protagonist horribly annoyed me.

in before "It's cool to hate things that are popular." That doesn't make it impossible to hate a popular thing for legitimate reason. As an example of a popular thing I did like: I enjoyed Inception.
Yeah, not a fan of the whole "cool to hate" thing.

It's kind of the opposite of the notion that popularity validates something. Instead, the popularity of the viewpoint is used to dismiss criticism, whether or not it's valid.

On the subject, anything by Tarrantino. He emulates a lot of things I like, but he never seems to actually "get" them. But imitation seems to be enough for people these days, and it doesn't just happen with movies.

I actually have a decently long list but one of the bigger ones was Transformers 2 for the robots that spoke in really annoying ebonics mixed with random shots of dogs humping and Sam throwing out his hands and going "Nononononononono!"

Seven. BOOOOORRRRREEEEDDDDD.

Napolean Dynamite. I remember sitting there and actually asking my friends, "you're SURE this is supposed to be a comedy?"

Superbad. Anyone who did not want to line that entire cast up and just bitchslap every single one of them, raise your hand. No takers? Didn't think so.

.....Monty Python and the Holy Grail

*hides*

Oh, and not "Everyone" loves it, but I thought that Oldboy was just bad.

EDIT: oh, and Boondock Saints...really? Christ, I had no idea the movie actually had that many fans. I had just written it off as a crappy movie.

The Hangover. I know I will be crucified for this, but I laughed at one scene the entire time. Maybe it's because I hate Las Vegas with a seething passion, I don't know...plus the jokes were aimed at guys in a frat party fist bumping each other while drinking Bud.
I did not enjoy The Hangover at all. I found it to be typical humor, and why it got so much praise, I have no idea. The conclusion was so flat and boring. Just... ugh.

Natural Born Killers

Bit of an old one but everytime it shows up on TV (or even when my friends rented when it first came out) it's a huge snooze fest for me

Kick Ass. Would have been interesting but it focussed on the wrong character. Kick Ass himself is pretty much useless after he opens others' eyes to being super. It should've been Hit Girl. Also was McLovin supposed to be a badass future villain at the end? Did I miss something? I thought I saw him get the crap beaten out of him like the useless pampered dork that he is.

And next time guys, leave some good stuff in the film, don't give every good part of the film away in advance in the trailers.

Pretty much anything Quentin Tarantino has ever made. I just don't get what's supposed to be so great about him.
Oh, and nearly any crime/mafia/police film with the sole exception of Hot Fuzz. Seriously, that whole genre is just yawn-o-rama.

The Nightmare Before Christmas.....I don't see it, yea it's OK, but I can't say it's amazing as everyone I know says it is.
