Movies/Shows You Saw "Out Of Order"

I saw the Evil Dead series out of order, starting with Army of Darkness and worked my way backwards. I even saw MST3K out of order as well. My first entry was their theatrical release on VHS and the first TV episode I watched was The Amazing Colossal Man. Had to hunt down the random episodes Rhino Video put out and then I began recording the Sci-Fi Channel era at a relative's house.

I saw Serenity before I ever watched Firefly.

I played Half Life 2 - Episode 2 before I tried the original.

I read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban before the others.

The first Evangelion related thing I ever saw was End of Evangelion. You can imagine my... delight.

Oh my god, that thing's barely comprehensible with the rest of the series. I still love it, though.

Myself, I've been playing the Metal Gear Solid series backwards. I started off with 4 on my then-new PS3, then played 3 and then 2, and I'm currently near the end of the first one.
