Wow, that's a lot of question marks.

For me it's definitely Labyrinth. By all rights I should hate it, but I just love it to bits.

Akira.

I usually hate anime, but for some reason I just can't bring myself to dislike Akira. It's got this weird, indescribable quality about it that sucked me in, but I genuinely can't put it into words.

And I do admire the animation.

Pretty much any brainless action movie that I like such as Shoot'em Up, Rambo, Die Hard, etc. They are what they are, nothing more, nothing less.

I'd have to say Taken. I mean it's all pretty generic but it's all done in such a way it's good.

Well I like it anyway.
Yes please! Any movie with Liam Neeson acting like a badass is an instant classic. Or any movie with Sir Sean Connery in it. Why? Just because. Just because Sean Connery is fucking awesome.

I'm pretty analytical of films so I really almost always know why I like something, but it's the occasional acid-trip movie which I like for no particular reason. Paprika, for example, was pretty insane

Then you're probably going to love.

There are some brainless movies I enjoy, but I wouldn't really go so far as calling them "good" movies for that reason.

I like those movies you see on Scify just cause they're camp effect bad.

BUt other then that... I dont know. League of extraordinary gentleman. And red, cause it was that kinda fun action where you know htere's a purpose for it all but they can still be a bit ridiculous.

I can't agree with you there. Star Wars Episode 1 was fucking atrocious. But he is a good actor but a good pilot can't stop a flaming bag of shit from flying into big ben.

Just the way it is.
True, it was bad. But it gets a pass from me because it has two of my favorite actors in it (Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor).

I don't really know any movies I like "just 'cause".

I can usually define what I like in a movie - like Hot Fuzz being incredibly funny and having thoroughly enjoyable action sequences.

If anything I've almost begun to hate movies that I don't like that much (basically I'm dichotomising) due to the fact that they've taken up a lot of money with which I (or at least someone) could have made something a lot better with.

I don't think there is a movie that is good "just cause". I can always figure out why I liked a movie.

KickAss

I just can't explain why I love that movie so much that I won't even make the obvious title pun.

some movies may seem very good but you don't know why because of a simple fact, they are different, there are tons of movies that copy and paste the same plot over and over again and when you see something like that its just refreshing.

Predator.

Bad script.
Dozens of plot holes.
And Continutity issues.

But its possibly my favorite movie every filmed.
That and Labyrinth.
