The Boondock Saints

By all accounts, a highly pretentious, vulgar movie (that's vulgar just for the sake of being vulgar; it's annoying).

But watching a stereotypical Russian Mobster get crushed to death by a dislodged toilet dropped 4 stories down helped crack some serious depression I was going through at the time.

It's a cathartic film with memorable parts; even if my inner movie snob disagrees with it.
The Road.

Not a pleasurable film in any way, it's extremely depressing, but for some reason I love it.
God, that movie is so depressing, I kind of like it too (it reminds me of Children of Men and some games like Stalker), but dear god, it really makes a guy think that if something like that ever happened it would be an incredibly horrible situation to live through. The movie really makes the viewer be afraid of any character that shows up due to not knowing their intentions

OT: Felidae, watched it recently, its a german animated movie with cats but it isnt a kids movie, its an animated cat noir as it is about sex and murders.

Here is the sex, it will be normal for you to feel awkward in this scene
DAT SAX!

I liked the movie for what it was, and the title song is actually very cool

Too many to count, but I'll pick just two:

"Masters of the Universe" and "Judge Dredd". Frank Langela is show-stopping good as Skeletor and made me fall in love with the Big Bad Villain since I saw the movie when I was, maybe, 4 or 5 years old. As for Dredd, it's just complete B-movie action fun, even if it butchers the comic books cannon, of which I am a fan.

Little Shop of Horrors the musical. I always feel bad for mentioning it but I love that movie.

Observe & Report. It was strangely satisfying throughout the movie, although the last couple minutes violate understanding.

Observe & Report. I discovered that I was liking the movie, even while I was watching it. Didn't think I would.
