Its not the movie that gets me, its the music when I hear it somewhere else.

The soundtracks of LOTR, The Matrix Series and Gladiator get me every time.

It wasn't chills per say, but it was chilling. Like when you saw it, it was chills of joy, like all that hope is too much of system shock.

Personally, I'm going w/ A clockwork Orange, with any number of scenes, from the rape scene to when he beat the crap out of an old man for the hell of it.
Or, and I'm surprised that no one's said this, but all of the scenes in Silence of the Lambs. All the scenes with Psychopaths were just plain disturbing

Let the Right One In - the chilling feel you get during the hole movie isn't because it's winter and in Stockholm :)

Two movies do that.

Cloverfield, as someone before me said. But the whole 'normal people with friends losing friends to monsters' really hits home with me. It's so identifiable you just...shivver and place yourself in their shoes. I watched Godzilla a million times and wondered what it'd be like. Cloverfield showed me...and I wasn't ready.

I've yet to watch it, but Donnie Darko's trailers makes my balls shrivel up.
That fucking bunny, man.
That creep, lopsided faced, murderous bunny.
I think I need my woobie now.

Apparently, a lot of people on this thread have confused "chilling scenes" with "scenes that I think are awesome". I don't mind though, but just sayin'.

The ending to the Blair Witch Project, the "aborted babies" scene in the Japanese film Noroi: The Curse, the beginning prologue for Antichrist, anytime the Joker appeared in The Dark Knight, the ending of Home Movie (Nobody's seen this. Think Blair Witch Project but with little children replacing the witch), the first half hour of Saving Private Ryan, The Devil's Backbone...just The Devil's Backbone, anytime HANNIBAL LECTER appeared in Silence of the Lambs and let's not forget Buffalo Bill dressing like a girl and dancing in Silence of the Lambs, Se7en...just Se7en, the entire climax of The Orphanage, lots of scenes in Pan's Labyrinth, I could go on you know. I've seen so many horror movies that I can't even count.
