Air Force One. It's a crappy action movie, but it's got that right feel for a crappy action movie that lets you just sit down, relax your body and brain, and watch Harrison Ford kick the crap out of people.

I really enjoyed the Resident Evil movies, even the third one which completely took the Resident Evil storyline and shoved it down a zombies decaying throat.
Another zombie movie that I enjoyed was the Zombie Diaries. It is a small independent film filmed on a low budget, but is good just the same. It works with what it has and makes good use of it. I wouldn't say that it is Academy Awards material, but for a fledgling movie director on a limited budget it is a pretty decent movie. (I like how it is filmed Cloverfield style, with the actors holding the cameras.) My brother and his friends didn't like the movie. I don't think there were enough explosions in it for them. =-/

V for Vendetta was amazing. I am in love with that movie. I cry everytime I see the Valerie's Letter scene. ='(
Or you could actually go and watch the actual movie, and then decide if it's worth the price of admission. I know that's a dangerous precedent, considering the ease with which you toss out the named critic you did, which suggests to me (and I might be totally wrong) that you let this critic tell you what movies to go see, but you might actually make your own decision here.kaiser_what said:

Yes, it is from Boll, but I think its a nice film. I like the social criticism in it and its hilarious to watch people arguing why the film is bad when everything they mention gets featured in lots of other films, too or is a accurate, exaggerated representation of the real world.
