Clerks
Evil Dead 2
The Day the Earth Stood Still (Original of course)
True Grit
Fight Club
Toy Story
Airplane (Don't call me Shirley)
The Godfather
On the Waterfront
To Kill a Mockingbird
Milk
There Will Be Blood
The Wizard of Oz
Gladiator
Raiders of the Lost Ark
A Beautiful Mind
District 9
Pulp Fiction
Nosferatu
Ninja'd me, especially on To Kill A Mockingbird and On the Waterfront.

Anyone mention Citizen Kane? It is supposed to be cool to mention that, like you're a real film buff if you know of it, but the truth is, even by today's standards, it is just a terrific movie experience.

On the frivolous side, I'll add:
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Ralph Bakshi's Wizards
The Muppet Movie
The Back to the Future movies
The original Karate Kid movie.

I just watched American History X, and I mean, it's a great movie, but I don't see what's so life changing about it.
