I used to cry a lot at movies when I was younger. Ive kind of grown out of it over the years. The film thats made me cry the most, however is A.I. (Artificial Intelligence). The ending is so, so heart breaking

If you say you never cried during a movie, stop lying to yourself.
I'm not, I'm just unable to cry even though I want to. I get close very often, feel a lump in my throat and all that. Mind you, that's the emotional equivalent of a regular person crying his eyes out. I cry on the inside, I can't show it.

Examples of such movies would be:
About Schmidt (I could relate to the main character very well at some points, which hurts)
Avatar (from sheer beauty)
I Am Legend (2 words: his dog)
King Kong
The Last Samurai
AI: Artificial Intelligence
V for Vendetta
Serenity
The Green Mile
Wall-E
Gladiator
The Holiday
Love Actually

And probably plenty more I can't recall right now. Of course I near-cried at some shows as well, especially Doctor Who, Firefly as well, Farscape, Cowboy Bebop, probably more as well.

The Green Mile. They killed everyone who you didn't want to die.
(except Tom Hanks)
Oh, and Moulin Rouge and Titanic.

There's a couple of other films that have already been mentioned that have had me close, but I can only really think of one film that has reduced me to tears entirely off its own back with something entirely fictional, which is V for Vendetta. The story about the woman with the roses is so well done and utterly moving that I cry every time I see it.

That said, I cry during almost anything where a father dies and the child is around, because it hits too close to home.

For the record, I'm a woman.

We were soldiers

The ending gets me everytime because they're all shellshocked, but that was "just" one battle and the beginning of the war,so we can't even begin to imagine what they'll be like at the end of the war,if they make it out.
Also,it shows that the enemy aren't baby-eating emotionless robots from hell, but humans fighting for something and families behind them.

Especially
Mister Jingles.
Fuck me that proved that my exterior is made out of solid friggin' stone. And I nearly cried again from cheer joy when
John revives him.
I love that film.

The last time I cried during a movie was Endless Waltz. Don't judge me, I was 11. The closest any movie has come since was A Walk To Remember. That movie really pulls the heartstrings at the end.

Let's see...

The Fox and the Hound (Several times... when he learned they couldn't be friends any more, mostly... and especially when the woman had to let Tod go)

Lilo and Stitch (When he was gonna be taken away to prison)

Bolt (When Bolt stayed with Penny in the burning studio)

Up (When Frank's wife died)

Avatar (When they destroyed the big tree)

The worst offender? The Crow. That's all I have to say about that.

And since I stole that quote I'll mention Forrest Gump as well.

It was at some point in 2012, I can't remember now. Alot of Disney and Pixar films get to/almost get to me. Mrs. Doubtfire too, especially when he's begging the judge for his kids.

The Lion King, when Simba's dad died. Mind you, I cried a lot back then.

of recent times I'll say when
his dog dies
in I Am Legend, despite that I didn't really like that film. It looked great and Will Smith was brilliant in it, but they got so much wrong and missed the whole fucking point of the book.
