"Below" and "Session 9."

Both extremely creepy, both with a couple of brutal twists. And both keep you guessing whether there's something legitimately supernatural going on or whether you're just watching the characters have stress-induced breakdowns.

Also, as already mentioned, Lucky Number Slevin. Witty and clever with some great performances and a twist I did NOT foresee.

The Prestige has some interesting turns to it.

Besides which, its just an excellent movie.
I have a better one. The Ilusionist.

Seriously?

I thought the Illusionist was telegraphed and, in general, a terrible, aweful movie. It's the only movie I've ever watched that made me think 'Edward Norton... ick.'

Damn, I LOVE Session 9! I can't think of any other movie that managed to convey such a feeling of dread even when scenes were shot outside in bright, sunny daylight.

My own vote goes for a little independent movie called Salvage (2006), which was filmed somewhere in West Virginia or possibly Ohio on a shoestring budget.

Se7en are prolly my favourite picks
Seven doesn't really have a twist, at least it is not like The Prestige or Sixth Sense. It was more an oh shit moment and not a "omg he was dead the whole movie".

No one has said Memento? Edit: I should really read more carefully.

Unbreakable has a twist at the very end that changes everything we know about one of the main characters, and as such changes most of the movie.

Well pretty much everything Shyamalan made from Sixth Sense to Lady in the Water.
Pretty much. Shyamalan is the master of twists.

Would add:

- Twelve Men And A Secret
- The Butterfly Effect
- The Forgotten
- Déja Vu
- Premonition
- Fight Club
- Swordfish

Inception had a decent twist
Inception had no twist. In the planning stages they they out their plan to perform inception on the Son. I suppose the twist was Cobbs wife but that is more of a character Arc than a twist
