Angels in the Outfield, probably the only non-Hockey sports movie I've ever cared about, and Dragonheart.

The two Bill and Ted films were on permanent repeat through my mid teen years. I fuckin' loved those films even though looking back they were cheesy as fuck. I liked the sense of humour, the loose implementation of time travel and just the idea of rock music uniting the world.

Yeah I was and still am an optimistic, idealistic, happy go lucky, never say die kind of guy so you can see the appeal in those films for me. I'm probably the most optimistic person alive actually. If I ever get worried over anything give me five minutes of thought and I WILL have thought up a bright side already.

Anything with freddie kruger, evil dead/army of darkness, probably some others.
I love the camp comedy of them, they're not horror, they're just fun that that's fine by me.

The CGI in it really is only getting more terrible with age, but Van Helsing. Its kind of a shame they didn't get the TV series or whatever, cause the world seemed decently interesting (a TV budget might've also cut down on the bad CGI stuff).

Tank Girl and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (theres another one that would've been a better TV series), are, rather rightfully considered horrible adaptations of their source material, but I find enjoyable nonetheless.

Disney films or other `kids` films.
Why- because they're awesome and pretty much everyone knows it.
Boyfriend likes to pretend he's not into it but I see him watching from behind my 3DS.

You're never too old to enjoy good kids films.
There are some bad kids films after all but I agree with this statement. I don't even really like the term "Kids Film" when they could be classified as "Family Films" since, while they're aimed at a younger audience, they can be enjoyed by any-given group...when they're good of course.

Holy Grail (as I understand) is the Monty Python movie that you're not supposed to like since it's like saying your favorite flavor of ice cream is vanilla...that being said though, Holy Grail is my second favorite Monty Python movie.

Fist of the North Star staring Craig Daniels and, Malcolm McDowell. This is a movie you probably haven't heard of, even if you are really into 80's anime. If you do know about it then you know this is a cop-out answer since it's one of those "So-Bad-It's-Good" flicks. It's silly, it spits on the source material, it white-washes the cast (I think)...but I love it

Most controversially to my geeky peers though is my enjoyment of the prequel trilogy. I enjoyed watching Phantom Menace in the theater as a kid but that isn't one that I would put on if I was bored (well...maybe the last 20 minutes because Darth Maul was awesome). I did however really like Attack of the Clones and, Revenge of the Sith...except for the last 10 minutes or so...

Edit Did I ever tell you guys what my all-time favorite Marvel flick is? Captain America and Thor were great. I also loved The Avengers and Incredible Hulk but my all-time favorite Marvel movie is The Punisher: War Zone. I don't think it's hated, it's not a guilty pleasure but compared to the more recent Marvel movies it's definitely been left to the wayside. Unlike the other Marvel movies though, The Punisher: War Zone is the only movie that can change my mood from meh to MUAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I love all the 80s slasher films. And almost all of the Hellraiser films.

I love musicals. Regardless of the musical. Though I disliked the new version of Les Mis. Damn you Russell Crowe....

And No Strings Attached. Which I'm watching next.

And I enjoy laughing at most rom coms. And making drinking games out of the Twilight movies that won't kill you.

And Disney. Love Disney.

Actually screw it. I'm not ashamed of any of the movies I like. I'm more ashamed of the ones I don't like that I've watched.

Puppet Master is a favourite series of mine too.

A Night at the Roxbury. It's my favorite movie of all time.

I used to listen to the entire soundtrack every night before I went to sleep when I was 12.

Avatar (the blue aliens one, not the Shamayamalana one). It gets a lot of flak around here occasionally but I really enjoyed it. It had cool mechs and dragon-ish things and was very pretty. All I really need.

Frozen. My mom: "I heard that movie was kind of ...girly?" me: I DON'T CARE IT WAS GREAT (not that she'd actually judge me about it, she's cool.)

The Riddick films, Nazis at the Center of the Earth, any of the Rugrats films, and of course Iron Giant.

- Fast and Furious 1 (everything after that was way, way too dumb)
- Silent Hill (again, just the first movie)
- I, Robot
- I am Legend
- Matrix 2 and 3
- And finally, the Star Wars prequels (DUN DUN DUUUHHHNNN!!)

Just to clarify, none of these are ironic. I genuinely love these movies. Also, there's no such thing as a guilty pleasure in my experience.

Starship Troopers. I know people would think it's cheesy and dumb and full of gore, action and T&A, well... they are right and that's why I love it.
I'm gonna have to join you on this one. I mean, how awesome were those crazy propaganda commercials?!

I actually liked Origins: Wolverine, though I realize this puts me in a group of 0.5 because I only count as half a real person cos I like the Wolverine movie.

Also, as the guy above said, Frozen. I'm a 6ft tall, large, hairy man. I am not the intended audience for Disney Princess films, but damn. Damn good film.

Oh, and not sure about the general feeling regarding Mystery Men, but Mystery Men is the GREATEST FILM EVER TO GRACE CELLULOID.

Well, I don't know how others feel about it, but the Fifth Element is just a joy to watch.

I can't help but think it's something of a B movie, but I still enjoy it. Bruce Willis has some great scenes, like when he "negotiates" with the aliens on the cruise ship. And there is some solid action in it. And some of the scenes are rather funny.

Sure, the villain isn't threatening. Sure, Chris Tucker is annoying in it. But I still enjoy the movie.
I even Chris Tucker in it.

Think you may have given me one.

OT: Repo: The Genetic Opera. If you want to show your friends something that you all can laugh at, this is a good one to go with. However, I really like this movie. Think of is as Sweeny Todd by way of Friday the 13th. You know what? I think Jim Sterling put it better than I ever could.

Hmmm... Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and Equestria Girls... One has a plot that I don't even care it's not even related to it's original source material... and the other has "The Spirits Within" in its title...

Every other movie that I would said, but has already been said already, are movies I would also classify as a movie I'm not ashamed of liking... Then again, I have no shame... So, I think that's kinda cheating on my part...

Which, by the way, I have to re-watch a few of them (including The Spirit Within) in my future...

Wow, I'd make fun of some of the unironic love of some of the previously mentioned awful movies...

But I'm about to add Brainscan, Hudson Hawk, and Split Second to the list; so I'm afraid I don't have any "high ground" to stand on. I mean, Hudson Hawk... where else can you see Danny Aiello and Bruce Willis dueting show tunes? Brainscan, perhaps the height of Ed Furlong's career, plus the bad guy is now the voice of Baron Underbheit. And Split Second... how can you go wrong with a Kim Catrall shower scene in a movie with a sugar and caffeine-ed up Rutger Hauer vs a Xenomorph/Predator/astrologist?

Plus, try finding a region 1 copy of Split Second on DVD. Those things go for over 100 bucks on eBay some times. NETFLIX doesn't even have that DVD.

I could have added Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to the list as well... but I am at least a little ashamed I liked that.

The Relic

Anybody remember that movie? It's like Night at the Museum, but with a brutal monster ripping people's heads off. It's filled to the brim with clichés, most of which stolen from Jaws (Christ, the movie basically is Jaws), but it's still such a thrilling monster movie. It's one of those films that's way better than it has any right to be.

I love it!
