Pokemon 2000 (so the second movie, with Lugia). Saw it a few times, something about it really appealed to me.

And unfortunately, Star Wars Attack of the Clones, twice. Damn my attraction to shiny things (there were plenty of lightsabers to be seen, you see).

Yeah, nothing recent, because it's expensive and with all that 3D rubbish I can't even watch most films.

I've never done it, I don't want to watch even the greatest movie twice in one month. I'll watch it, wait a few years until it's a little hazy then I can enjoy it again. But, if I remember it perfectly, I'm just not gonna enjoy myself.

My all-time record is The Matrix (the first one). 9 times on circuit. 21 times within the first year (including on video). Numerous others twice, but no others 3 or more times.

I never see a movie twice in theaters with the same people. That being said, I saw Avatar a number of times, as well as all of the Lord of the Rings movies (Hobbit included). I saw The Dark Knight a few times also.

I actually saw The Avengers twice, but only because I saw it once on its own, and again as part of a double feature at the local drive-in theater (the other movie was Brave). Otherwise, I never see a movie in theaters twice. If I go to a movie and decide that it was good enough that I'd like to see it again sometime, I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD and buy it.

I saw the Matrix Reloaded twice for the Chateau scene, The Dark Knight 5 times, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest about 3 times, and the Avengers 3 times.
Explain something to me if you can... what was so good about the Dark Knight? Why go see it 5 times in theatres? I watched it once and found it just an ok movie, I didn't think Heath Ledger was all that special as the Joker.

Can anyone give me a good answer?

Looking back I'm not sure why maybe because it was what I considered the first good Batman movie since Batman Returns. That and being REALLY surprised by Heath Ledger's performance. Funny thing is, once I bought the dvd I never watched it once.

Hmmm...

Inception
The Dark Night
MLP: Equestria Girls (yes I saw it in theatres, TWICE)
Star Trek: Into Darkness
The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
All of the Harry Potter Movies
James Cameron's Avatar
The Avengers

I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones that were on the top of my head.

I saw Man Of Steel twice.
First with my friends, second with my family. It was the first movie I've seen multiple times in theatres since I can't even remember.
I plan to do the same thing with Pacific Rim.
