If you could delete one movie out of existence (and as a result any sequels or movies that were made as a result) which would it be and why?

Personally I would delete Twilight. Then we wouldn't have to worry about the emasculation of vampires in popular culture and, well, the bloody stupid cultural phenomenon.

We'd still have Ann Rice adaptions then.

As for me, the one thing i could do without are those "modern" spoof-movies, Friedberg-Seltzer Style.

While most bad movies are just bad and that's it, i think these Flicks actually ruin a once fun genre and stigmatize it in a way that actively prevents good spoof movies (think Mel Brooks and ZAZ quality) to be even considered.

You serious? If we want to delete em all it's probably gonna create a black hole..

Allright then. If only one, let it be the latest Indiana Jones. Don't have to explain, I think?

Too many films I wish to be done away with... but for now: the new Clash of the Titans (way to go waste the talent of Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes)

I will forever only accept the Ray Harryhausen masterpiece.

I wouldn't delete any I don't think. There are some films I hate, or remakes that bastardise the original, but if idiots want to keep paying for them, it's keeping people in work

Transformers 2 probably, so i didnt waste 15 bucks on it and have the worst viewing experience I've ever seen in theatres. I've been going to the theatre a lot less since then...

I hope Brotherhood ends better (and please don't spoil it for me!)
Prepare to be relieved...(!) Have you read the manga? If so...

Brotherhood ends just like the manga does

If you haven't, it's an awesome ending anyway. And thankfully (after a fashion), Shamballa and the second half the first anime was completely original so Arakawa-sensei can completely disown it if she so chooses.

Anyway, considering how much a fan of FMA you are, I'm surprised you haven't finished it. What gives?!

the "____ movie" series

if that happened, the human race would actually get smarter for its absence

The Ladykillers remake, only Coen Brothers' film I didn't like. Yes I did like Intolerable Cruelty and The Hudsucker Proxy (...not counting the mezzanine).

While all Friedberg & Seltzers, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and Twilight are all great options, I'd erase the second and third Matrix films, to ensure the beautiful concept explored in the first movie (and was actually marvellously done in Animatrix) would not get muddied.

Citizen Kane. You know why.
No, why?

OT: Death Wish (Winner 1974) and by extension all its sequels. Deeply unpleasant, reactionary, right wing fascistic series of film steeped in class, racial and gender hatred.

I'd remove Terminator 3 which would also take care of 4. 2 neatly ended the series, I don't know why they had to mess with it after that.

It is a boring, dry piece of tripe with a premise founded on a plothole, yet is universally lauded as the "BEST MOVIE EVAR", which implies that 70 years of filmmaking and going are just inferior to one mediocre movie.
