Post as little or much as you like I'm just here for the discussion and internet views.

Movies I wish would be made:

Meme Wars (movie about memes existing in real life going to war)

Meme Wars 2: Electric Boogaloo

Meme Wars 3 & Knuckles

God of War the movie

Homestuck the Movie

Movie about Jesus descending into hell after being crucified acting like a badass Doom-style destroying everyone.

Movies I wish would be unmade:

Ghostbusters Remake

Zero Dark Thirty

The Last Airbender

the final Hunger Games movie

2nd to last Harry Potter movie (it was slow and lifeless compared to the rest of the movies)

On the flipside, I don't know if there are any films I want unmade.

I want:

-Zootopia 2 as a Sin City style Noir, but keep the comedy.

-A good remake of Starship Troopers, with all the camp and meaningful anti-Federalist messaging.

-A decent Warhammer 40k movie. Just pick any random story and go for it. No romance though. Blood Angels don't sex up Battle Sisters.

Films to unmake:

-The last 2 new Reboot Trek movies. What a hot garbage fire they were!

Its funny, there's a bunch more like Pixels, Hunger Games, Frozen and the like that i despise, but i don't need them unmade, just for people to stop talking about them. Just those two awful Star Trek movies.

Going to lay this out at the start - the unmade movies list are movies that, if given the choice, I still wouldn't erase, as I feel that every piece of media has some form of inherent value that shouldn't be shunted aside (looking at you, Blokamp). But these would be the closest candidates

Movies I want made:

-Castlevania (the rumored movie that arose ages ago)

-Chronicles of Narnia movies that cover the remaining books

-Diablo movie

-Farscape movie that supposedly exists

-Another Lord of the Rings adaptation (more of a good thing)

-Mistborn trilogy adaptation

-Overwatch movie

-A sequel to Pan

-Star Trek XIV (keep it going)

-Tron 3

-Warcraft movie sequel

-Transall Saga adaptation

Movies I want unmade:

-Mortal Kombat: Annihilation

-The majority of the Anderson Resident Evil films (or at least given a different name)

-Star Wars: The Force Awakens (not a bad movie, but an unnecessary one)

-Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (fuck this movie)

-Alien vs. Predator: Requiem

-Alien 5 (or whatever Blokamp is calling his fanfiction project - and yes, this is the one example I genuinely want to never occur

-The Bourne Legacy (like T3, a classic case of a film undermining the ones that came before it)

-Star Trek: Generations (lacklustre films that screws the pooch on every front, including the film that came before it)

-Animal Farm (goes completely against the spirit of the original novel)

The 2nd to last Harry Potter movie was Part 1 of the Deathly Hallows.

Also in regard to Frozen, it wasn't horrible, it just is ridiculously overrated and deserved to fail but won people over with the animation. Story was SHIT. Dialogue was SHIT. Characters were FLAT. Villain was ESPECIALLY FLAT.

Also movie that needs to be made right now:

Garfield Does America

My wish came true!

Quick, everyone keep posting! The Internet cares!

On the flipside, add Angry Birds to movies I don't want to exist. Y'know, worst movie I've seen this year and all that.

If there was a 40k flick focusing on the Imperial Guard, I'd be in line opening day....
Oh hell yes. I'd be there 3 days early, and our theater is a desolate wasteland where there wasn't even a line for Star Wars.

And really, the first movie has gotta be about the Imperial Guard. You can't put the universe in perspective when you're dealing with Space Marines. Put an Ork up against a Space Marine, and it's just a mildly huge green dude. Put that same Ork up against a guardsman, and all of a sudden it's David and Goliath.

Eh, it'd be the THIRD movie, technically...

The first one, if I'm not mistaken, was a fan-film called Damnatus. For a fan flick, it was actually not half bad. It got the lore right and was properly dark in tone. Best of all, it was more like a Dark Heresy game than the usual spehs marine wank.

The complaint about it...corridors. So much skulking down corridors....

The second was Ultramarine. The less said about that facepalm fest, the better, but I'll give you my lowlights.

-Deamon Prince as a random encounter monster
-Astartes using NO tactics whatsoever
-Ultramarines.
-John Hurt sounding like he wants to be shot to get him out of this gig.

Never seen Damnatus, and I've forcefully mind wiped Ultramarines.

I'm talking about BIG BUDGET HOLLYWOOD! There was a thread a while ago with 'fan casting.' Maybe I should dig that up...

Just keep in mind that it is a fan film, and you gotta find it subbed (German made).

I want

More Vampire Hunter D movies by the guys who made Bloodlust

X-Men movies that don't focus on Wolverine

Like others said, a proper 40k movie about non Space Marines. I'd prefer Imperial Guard, but I wouldn't say no to a Rogue Trader movie. Gaunt's Ghosts would make a good series of movies.

I want the following to not exist anymore

All video game movies

Pixels

Frankster

Space Ace

Films I wish would be made:
-40k big budget film, even if I know such a thing is impossible due to the inevitable R rated nature and themes making it terrifying to studio execs. Even if people here are sick of spehs mehreens, I think the story of dow 1 could legit make it as a good film...or as an all star musical opera:
-Mnemosyne, because I'm curious as to how it would be possible to take such a fucked up (and i love it for it!) anime and turn it to the big screen, it would be kinda like species 1/2, what with the body horror mixed in with sex and gore, only more extreme.
-Alpha Centauri, though I think this might be better for an ongoing tv series.
-I hesitate in naming books since unlike games, good chance you won't know of them, but some sci fi books like the Culture series (i might be misremembering the name, but it's the series that mass effect rips off basically), the Gods trilogy or the Ants trilogy from Bernard Weber would be pretty cool.
