Any movie that was so bad you wish you could forget it. My vote goes to Avatar for having a awful plot, characters, and message.

Drag me to hell. God damn that was the worst film I have ever seen in the cinema. People told me it was scary and it was really just jumping scenes then everything else was either coring or funny

My choice would be a film called Whitefire (it has a different name for release in other countries - something French IIRC).

I hated it so much I snapped the disc.

I expected a bad film to laugh at. What I got was the film equivalent of a genital piercing.

I'm not even going to go into it.

It was just awful. I mean really.

Not really. Because if I forget I saw a particularly awful film, I might be foolish enough to decide to see it again at some point, since I wouldn't remember how bad it was.

That said, there are plenty of films that have made me want to claw out my own eyes to avoid seeing them while I was watching them. Manos: The Hands Of Fate, of course, comes to mind.

Twilight - and I'm not saying it because hating Twilight, apparently, is the in thing to do nowadays. It's honestly the worst movie I've ever seen.

Runner-up would be Cradle of Fear (beaten by Twilight because, holy crap, things actually happen in Cradle of Fear)

I think it was called... zoom?

'twas about these people who have super powers and are called together to try to defeat the evil person who also has superpowers.

And it wasn't The Fantastic Four

or X-men

or in fact almost any superhero film ever.

Dracula 3000.

Worst Movie ever. I went into a downward spiral of drugs and sex to dull the pain associated with seeing it

Battlefield Earth. I think I'm the only person to have sat through the whole thing who's not a scientologist. And I really don't know how or why I did it.

Ghost Rider

Seriously.

Poor Sam Elliot got roped to do something he reeaaaally shouldn't have gotten roped into.

Not to mention Nick Cage couldn't act his way out of a beehive in the first place.

So many movies, such as the R-Rated comedies or the horror series. Friday the Thirteenth is just milking it for all it's worth.

But the first that jumps to mind is Year One. I watched the Unrated version at a party once. It sucked balls. And the oil scene was... dear God, that horrible and nightmare inducing...

Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation and Starship Troopers: Marauder.

I'm one of those people who absolutely adored the "loose adapation" that was the 1997 movie, reveling in its ridiculous machismo, extremely loose grasp on science, silly plot and krass tits-n-gore exploitation (well, as much exploitation as was allowed in the 90's). It's just a whole ton of fun to watch.

The "sequels"? Not so much. SST2 brained itself somewhere and thought it would be a good idea to be "more like a horror movie" except failing to actually be anything of the kind. UGH.

Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. It don't really need it erased from my memory, per say, but I would like that lost time/money back.
