I think Kill Bill could be made into an interesting arcade type game (sort of like Scott Pilgrim). And I'd like to see a dead space movie, that would make a great action horror flick.

Suckerpunch . That would make a awsome horror/survival game a la Silent hill 2 . To be honest , that movie would work better as a videogame than it does a movie . In my opinion of course .
Wait... are you taking about the same Suckerpunch that came out in theaters a while back?

How the hell do you get Survival Horror out of that?

Honestly, I couldnt think of a movie I would like to see made into a game, but I would like to see a COD mod (like the Star Wars mod for COD4) for G.I. Joes. Not the movie, mind you, but the cartoon series.

I know I cant be the only one...

Oh, and for game to movie, Borderlands.

Just wondering did anybody actually read the title? Didn't think so.

Anyways, probably not any movie to be honest. The only ones that could be entertaining are the stupid non stop shooting action flicks and considering that would just be another generic shoot why even make it an adaptation. Good movie stories and good game stories are told in two TOTALLY different ways and as such it is nearly impossible to make a movie into a game and have it be good. Yes, Goldeneye kicked major ass, but that had as much to do with the actual movie as Ocarina of Time did.

Not to sound like a jerk but why? I played Borderlands and while it was a fun co-op shooter it had hardly any story. Ya, I got an occasional chuckle out of the humor but the story was nothing more than a means to move the action from one spot to the next.

Movies as a game? Hmmm...I wouldn't mind something set in the Terminator universe, in the future rather than the present. Or something like Bicentennial Man/I, Robot, ie. a game set in Asimov's near-future Earth.

As for games to movies, the ones with the coolest stories I'd love the chance to see in live action, Bioshock (because bees), Moment of Silence (because conspiracies), Outcast (because Urukai), X2: The Threat (because Julian Brennan-san), Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (because Kyle Katarn) or Jade Empire (because Black Whirlwind).

I'd like to mention other BioWare games which have wonderful stories, but I think Jade Empire is the only one that is filmable. The others have much more lee-way with how they're played, many more permutations of player choice and outcomes. Watching BG2: The Movie, I'd not recognise any of the things the screenwriter picked out as being the game I played. They'd make the protagonist a 2-handed sword warrior and I'd immediately snort in disgust.

Godfather as a videogame a-la Civilization on a smaller-scale.

I think that a Starship Troopers game would be pretty freaking sweet. Problem is...I'm not sure what kind of game I'd want.

A RTS is the obvious choice but I don't really think it would be that interesting. I'd think that a Squad based FPS or something like that would be pretty fun. Maybe a RTS/FPS hybrid (like what Black Ops II tried...although that didn't work very well due to the incredibly bad team AI. Make that with not-terrible team-mates and you've got a sweet game!).

The "Planet P" fort fight as you order your troops around; attempting to hold the line as millions of bugs attack. The sneakier stealth of trying to capture a brain bug. The "Kill every last mother fucker" of using the Marauders. Neil Patrick Harris!...so much potential.
As long as it keeps its themes Ed Neumier and Paul Verhoeven presented, I wouldn't mind what kind of game it is. But yeah, lots of potential.

12 Monkeys. Not sure HOW it would work (maybe time-specific hub based missions), but I feel the narrative would work in game form. Probably doesn't HAVE to be made but would be interesting.

And... Space Pirates and Zombies could totally be made into a B-grade sci-fi horror movie. Nice linear story that can translate into film, suspense, underdogs trying to get to the top, morally grey captain, shocking reveals... and zombies in space!
