To watch films like Cowboy Bebop The Movie and Ghost in the Shell SAC: Solid State Society require you to watch the series first. While Cowboy Bebeop is enjoyable to most people, not everyone like Ghost in the Shell SAC.

The Jacket

Even though it was one of the most confusing, non-sensical films I've ever seen, I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I just can't see myself recommending it to anyone. I loved it, but I hated it. It's complicated =P

Also, I noticed that someone said Ichi The Killer. Why would you not recommend that? Is it because of the hideous amounts of violence? I've not seen it, but I want to, and I've heard lots about it.
The violence is quite strong but at the end of the day its bareable. I wouldn't recommend it because of to strong violence. No. The reason I would give is that there some body fluids in large quantities that should not EVER be shown on screen. Ichi the killer went there. Its an alright movie, just didn't see it as a great movie but meh thats just me.

Also, the jacket = AWESOME. That is all.

The Lovely Bones.

At first I didn't like it, but eventually I came round and found it oddly thought provoking.
But geeeez did it drag.

A Serbian Film

Oh gosh. I've heard about that film. A friend asked me to look it up on wikipedia and admittedly, It doesn't sound like a massively enjoyable film. Though from what I've read about it, yes, it is pretty much /thread in this case.

The Room.

Actually forget that.
Watch it.
Oh Hai Scde2.

Again, i havent really 'watched' this film (Although I saw the nostalgia critic's review of it, so i know the basic gist of the story and how bad the film is) but I think it would be fun to watch it. Just for the experience.

I mean, a cult classic's a cult classic, right?

Air Bud (So that I never have to see it again)
JFK
Memoirs of a Geisha

Wait no, I do recommended JFK. Everyone should see it, at least so they can crumple up newspapers to throw at conspiracy theorists and laugh.

Two words:
Cannibal Holocaust

This is one of the most brutal movies of all time.
I'm glad I saw it, but I'd prefer never to see it again, and I would never actually recommend it to anyone else.

You mean recommend. A Request is the opposite.

Anywho, I've heard Watchmen is not something to watch with your family, so I'll go with that.
Wait, does that mean you haven't actually watched it, it's that missing the whole point of the thread?

OT: Probably Repo Men

Oddly enough, I haven't See, I've been told that I shouldn't watch it with my parents what with the gratuitous nudity and the themes that they just wouldn't get (For the record, I won the comic and love every panel). So every chance I get to even watch it, I quickly remember this advice and I don't have that chance any more.
It's my favourite film of all time if that carries any weight. You might not want to see it with my parents if they aren't very bright and are highly reactionary, but I saw it with my mum and she loved it. You should definitely see it as soon as possible.

Most horror films.
Recent among these being Splice (it isn't a movie you watch with a group anyway)
