It's hot, there's a lot of poisonous animals and the government hates people who play games.

That's all i can think of at the moment.

They have a cool accent.
To prove yourself as a man you must hunt and kill a dingo within one week of moving there.
They ride kangaroos to work / school.

In fact, don't ask me, I know nothing and joking around like that is what got me on probation the other day - I probably shouldn't continue then. I do believe the Aussies have a user group, maybe ask in there?
Will edit with a link ASAP.

If you accidentally run over a wombat and if it's a female, you need to call a special number of people who can take care of Wombat babies. They release them when they're old enough to live.

I saw that from Animal Planet.

You mean one Attorney General who dislikes games and who is not going to be Attorney General for too much longer.

be careful of who you hang around. In my experiances, half the people are assholes and the other half are REALLY nice.

Um... look out for wallabes, they're the equivalent of road kill down there, but apperantly they are more frequent in some of the more rural areas.

It's usually hot down there (mostly a dry heat from my experiances) so sun screen once you get there is a good buy...

OH! And don't be tempted to "Fight" a kangaroo...

We have overpriced games and crap internet, and we eat our national animals.
HEY! Canadians do that too! The Majestic Moose isn't exactly majestic when served beside asparagus and a glass of red

Yes. Perhaps once he finally steps down and leaves the country/continent of Australia will finally have the gaming peace they deserve.
