"Mel-bun"

Isn't it "Mel-Burn"?
That's fine too, I guess. Just don't stress the R too much.
Well my australian friends sat me down in the airport and made me saw or over and over again... I just know there's a very subtle R in there, so it's hard to leave out...

Ah, that was a good week... I wish I'd seen more of the city

If you see an animal, any animal... run. They all want to kill you, especially drop bears.

Get some shorts with an American flag on them, get another pair with the Assuie one. Buy two pairs of boxing gloves and a video camera.

Fight a Kangaroo, tape it, youtube it. Become a millionare.

TURN BACK WHILE YOU CAN!!!

Nar, Melbourne's a pretty good place. It also holds a HUGE Anime convention also, I think later on in the year (and one on the 20-22nd AUG). It's alot better then Newcastle and if Labyrinth hosts another Aussie get-to-gether, you can train up to Sydney to hang with us. Don't worry, we wont bite. :3

Tipping isn't expected, games are overpriced & pansied-out, IT'S REALLY FUCKING COLD RIGHT NOW.

Where in Australia are you going?
I'm going to be living in Melbourne
Oh awesome, I live in Melbourne. Make sure you learn how to pronounce it right before you get here, you'll get shit if you get it wrong.

If you pronounce it Mel-born in front of any Australian, they will be pissed. It's pronounced Mel-Burn, or if you're talking quickly, Mel-bun.

Mel-Bun is actually your safest option. We're not big on linguistics down here.

As Pararaptor previously mentioned, tipping isn't expected, and Sales tax is included in the marked price. We also round off to the nearest 5 cents. In the city this isn't really an issue, but don't put your hands in small dark holes without looking in them first. Spiders love that shit.

If you have any questions, ask. We're usually a friendly bunch.

That's all i can think of at the moment.
You mean one Attorney General who dislikes games and who is not going to be Attorney General for too much longer.
Yes. Perhaps once he finally steps down and leaves the country/continent of Australia will finally have the gaming peace they deserve.
Yes, but I hear the South Australians cop it the worst with the rating system. I live in Queensland, so the main thing I worry about is surviving every Summer through the humidity. Though in saying that, I prefer the humidity to the blistering cold that is Melbourne -_- 15 degrees compared to 6.5 degrees tonight :) And a nice 20 degrees tomorrow.

That also means you'll bypass our lame winter, and get to live up our awesome spring/summer/autumn (autumn, not fall. Never fall) on the coast. Enjoy that.

If an animal isn't poisonous it is most likely delicious. Even the poisonous one aren't that bad too.

Don'ts;
- Try too hard to impress
- Openly like soccer
- Drink VB, that shit is gross
- Buy a Freo or Collingwood gersey

Do's
- Buy a Hilux, Land Cruiser. Patrol, Statesman, Commodore, Falcon or Fairlane (preferably not the Commodore or Statesman, they are rubbish because they are Holdens)
- Buy a West Coast Eagles gersey
- Spell 'colour' with the 'u'
- Be careful you are in Victoria, the lamest state in Australia

Other notes
- They are called 'prawns' not 'shrimp'
- We do have a really cold winter here, especially in places like Melbourne
- Fords are better than Holdens
And most importantly
Western Australia is the best bit

Make sure you eat kangaroo while you're here. It's cheaper than good-quality beef, tastes fantastic and is extremely healthy for you (there's barely a gram of fat in it). But yeah, bring your own games and don't expect to play with any of your old friends in America while you're here.
