Moving to Sydney in Oct. Any advice - what's cool to see, where to hang out etc.

Hey everyone,

As the title says, I'm off to Sydney in October for a year or so to try and get some TV work. Just thought I'd ask on here if anyone can recommend anything cool to do there or any other advice about life in Aus in general.

I don't know anyone there yet either so if anyone wants to hang out and do some gaming that would be cool too!

haha Sydney is a different place, remember to bring same balls when you get here. hahahahaha

But as for places hanging out there is a lot of clubs in the city, where most people go of a weekend. So depends on taste of music is where to go. There is internet cafes everywhere and some hold comps for PC and 360 games, there is a 360 cafe with the walls lined with plasma's on a 360 network that costs 5 bucks a hour but good times when i was there, box'd in at Baulkham Hills NSW which is 45 minute drive from city.

Also get some bar work when ya get here, Sydney is expansive to live in at times but yea depends what ya looking for but there is something for everyone.
