Idiocy. If you're going to ban the swastika, then ban the hammer and sickle as well. It's responsible for as much, if not more, evil and carnage as the swastika.

Ah well... history is written by the victors, and all that.
The hammer and sickle is actually a standard symbol in the editor!
You think with the whole America v. Soviets the hammer and sickle would be equal to the swastika (seeing as Stalin killed countries full of people in eastern Europe for "treason")
The USSR had a long and bloody history of genocide before Hitler was of any importance, a history it was all to eager to expand on after WWII. I do not condone the use of Nazi imagery at all, but I do say, however, that the double-standards of our society only make that prohibition seem petty.
While were at it let's ban the Stars and Stripes as well. Everyone's guilty.
Now you're getting it.

I didn't even know you could make a swastika on black ops.
I guess people might argue about free speech or how it is related to religion but come on, seriously? would games be so much better if people could but dicks and swastikas as their emblems?

I think the bestiality/cock emblems are pretty funny. I think soem of you guys need to stop being so uptight and 'mature' for the sake of it.
How are we being mature for the sake of it? It is stupid and offensive, you can find it funny and thats brilliant, but some other people might not share your views and might have gotten a bit old of people thinking they are bad ass or funny by showing the emblem of the Nazi's who killed millions of people.

Who would use a swastika anyway?

I can think of 2 categories:

1. Neo-Nazis
2. 13 year old boys

I think the gaming scene is better without either groups.
I resent that sir, I'm thirteen and I'm not acting like an immature moronic pig. Although we may have been stereotyped through games as such, I assure you i'm not like the rest of most of the 13 year old gaming community who can best be described as lively. Perhaps you should rephrase your comment.

As much as I hate to quote overquoted things:

You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.
You even say it yourself, "I'm not acting like an immature moronic pig". You admit that 13 year olds have a reputation for being retarded.

I outright refuse to make my original comment politically correct because that would be outright stupid. I hypothesise that the number of mature, well behaved, well spoken young teens on the internet/gaming community are, in fact, in a vast minority.

I refuse to append statements saying "13 year olds on the internet are immature moronic pigs (except the ones that aren't)".

Deal with it.

firstly, the swastika is primarily a hindu symbol. hitler just 'borrowed' it to be the symbol of nazi germany. this means they have no right to ban the swastika as an emblem.

secondly, what the fuck did they expect to happen when they give the players customizable emblems? of course people will make penises, because people like to abuse every privilege they get. in fact, some of the bestiality emblems are actually quite creative.
it's all about the tilt actually.

"good" swastikas have straight horizontal and vertical lines. Hitler's swastika has 45 degree lines.

My friend has the Confederate flag as an emblem...
OT: Serves them right for being stupid with the emblem system. Everything I make involves skulls...
The Confederate flag at least represents something other than Racism and Slavery for a significant portion of those considering it. Yes, for many those two unsavory bits will be the first things that come to mind but there are plenty of other things associated with it. For example, it was the Civil War that finally established the supremacy of the Federal Government over that of the States. And I would wager it would be easy to find someone who would assert that the States ought to have comparable or greater power than the Federal Government.

for those of you who think that the Hindu swastika as still a valid argument then you should learn that what something was and what something is currently are rarely the same thing and the newer one invalidates the older one.

case and point

The cross (crucifix)
The Romens invented it as a form of torture and punishment, those put on it were there to receive the death sentence, so if the above argument was used on this situation then all of Christendom is bowing down before a torture device with a common criminal on it.

That is not a valid argument and you should learn "what something means and what it meant are not the same"
