MSN publish a list of top 10 boss battles

Good call on the Colossi, but since there's about 16 (i think) I'm not sure they count. Maybe if it was a little more specific. The flying serpent and one that looked like Alan Moore were awesome.

Pretty good list, my only beef is that the Doom Dragon from Golden Sun 2 wasent on there.
come on, it was MURDER!
even after i wandered around for 2 hours just trying to find where to go, it still took me at least 7 trys to beat it!

Quite a lot of unfamiliar ones, but I would have to agree that the Hydra boss atleast looked pretty good in God of War. It was one of the first games that I really liked in terms of production on PS2, and that thing was just a huge feckoff monster right in the start of the game.

Psycho Mantis was cool aswell. I screamed OMG at the age of 10 or 11, when I had to unplug my controller to beat the boss.

6) Krauser Resident Evil 4

That was pretty fucking awesome. I have a saved file just to play that particular part over and over again. It wasn't like impossible monster against unlikely hero, but two badass rivals-since-childhood coming together for a final fight.

And the ninja moves, god the ninja moves.

Granted, I've only done the top two on the list... but I think alma deserves a spot somewhere. Not sure if I would say psycho mantis was my favorite boss from mgs either.

It depends, I have personally never played any of those game, atleast to that boss battle, so I can't say, but I beleive they are idiots for the most part, and besides who made MSN the gaming authority, I thought that was us?

I'm disappointed about the lack of any bosses from the Metroid Prime Trilogy, those games had some awesome boss fights. Have to agree with #1 though.

Ill tell you what isn't, fallout 3 its 3 people you kill for boss fight, and if your speech is high enough you can ask him to leave.
