Somewhat poor decisions and factual inaccuracies aside, I did get a slight grin from the "Almost Everyone In COD Multiplayer" entry.

Apparently Luigi is annoying because he's cowardly, the amount of games he actually shos fear you can count on one hand, and it make shim more interesting since Mario has no personality whatsoever.

Navi apparently constantly talks at you, when any player of OoT will know she only reminds you of something every once in a while, and only conistently talks to you when you Z target, I personally didn't find her that annoying myself. More like helpful and necessary.

Tails is apparently a safety hazard, even though he plays the same as Sonic only can fly if you so choose. And also impossible to control in the co-op mode, by that I'm assuming they mean single player where Tails follows you and is only restricted by the camera.

Pikachu apparently has an 'annoying screech', even though the writer says he has little experience with Pokemon. An occasional half second of noise is no reason to dislike a game series.

Ashley from Resi 4.......passes.


I'm all for everybody having opinions but it really seems like the writer had not played half of these games enough to form an opinion, and sounds like just petty complaining for the sake of petty complaining.

To be fair to the guy, When i tried out Uncharted 2 at a friend's house, I took one look at the British guy and said "*sigh* He's going to back-stab me at some point isn't he?"
I didn't have to play too long to find out.

I was gonna tell you it doesn't matter, these things from these sites are normally just there so they can say they like all the popular stuff and leave it at that, but this guy's an idiot!

I love that Raiden is said to be a bad character for the single reason that he isn't Solid Snake. I always wondered if anybody who states that actually sat down and paid attention to MGS2 when they were playing it.

Farah? Niko? Raiden? I agree with Otis, an Luigi actually, and pokemon, and Spyro... There characters I don't like, but TOP 20 annoying of all time? THERE ARE WAAAAY WORSE!

The one I mostly disagrees with is Niko Bellic, how is that annoying? I mean, he's a guy with a troubled past, and if he just pulls over to kill people in liberty city is because the player is! In missions there's reasons! And the reason I like him as a gaming character, is that he's ready to risk his life, shooting down many bad guys to protect his friends and family, who didn't feel with the guy while trying to save Roman? Granted, Roman is a annoying character, and I can't speak for everyone, but I still got attached to him also as a character, he's human! Humans are acrtually quite annoying!

I also like that this writer can't make the disconnect between Niko Belic the character and Niko Belic the player. Gunning/driving down innnocent citizens is a player action, it has no bearing on the main story of GTA IV and, therefore, no bearing on the character of Niko Belic.

This guy is so full of shit it's ridiculous.

I always figured Jacob Taylor's lack of any greatly noticable personality outside of his duties would make him less of a candidate for being annoying.
It's like saying you are 'annoyed' at your stapler for doing just what it was supposed to do.

Still I was half expecting Ashley or Jack to be on this list and as they are my two favorite ladies of Mass Effect that would irritate me. Fortunatley they weren't.

Also I honestly think people overreact to Cortana, I liked her, she told jokes and acted as the mission giver for the first two games which was a vital role. Okay so she popped up in flashbacks during Halo 3 but it was rarely during gameplay and they were very brief. Not something worth getting into a mess about.

Spyro was made for children - I loved those games when I was, like, a child. Since when was he 'narcissistic'? I can't remember him having any notable features at all, except that he could fly a bit, sometimes had a skateboard, and his best friend was a dragonfly.

And then Nico Bellic, in the same list?

Also, where was Navi? I thought she'd be a straight-up winner.

Niko Bellic? I thought he was a great character, despite the moral confusion (and that can be rationalised as being partly player decisions, and partly to make the game work). Jacob Taylor wasn't really annoying, either. Bland and boring, but not irritating, and an improvement over... the white guy from the first game, who was so boring that I've genuinely forgotten his name.

Lost credibility at the Bioshock/Bioware blunder, but lost the rest at picking Spyro, Luigi, and Pikachu. And also, I don't know how you can pick Ashley when RE5 gave you Sheva, which was about twenty times worse.

I stopped reading halfway through, this list was bullshit. The three that annoyed me the most were,
Spyro: I didn't see him as 'narcissistic' I saw him as a small purple dragon that torched sheep and that was always fun.

Niko: He wasn't morally confused, throughout the story Niko was trying to get away from the killings but it was player actions - not character - that made him go on a rampage.

COD Multiplayer: Again player actions not character. In fact they're not even characters they're generic soldiers controlled by homophobic 12 year olds.

I like Pikachu Raiden and Peach, I loved Farah in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (actually she was one of my favorite female characters in a game, and defiantly the best match for the prince), and I always like Tails more then Sonic(who is bad-ass on his own). I mean what did tail do wrong? Collect extra rings, oh how annoying.
