EDIT: Oh and CoD:WaW because after playing for about 40 levels, I realized I had just been duped out of $60 bucks by Treyarch for a fucking CoD4 re-skin.
So few people understand this....I would give you a hug if I could.

COD4... I was sick of being yelled at by people for being a sucky n00b. Also I kinda got bored of Turok Multiplayer the second I realised that you can't play local only online which I didn't have at the time which is a sin of game design in my opinion. Next up, the Naurto fighting game on the grounds that my friend who you all may know as KINGBOB 2896 uses that bloody kid with the bag of sand and all those cheap unavoidable attacks that kill you over and over again and you can't escape. Gears of War 2 I found fun for a while but just like the first one the Shotgun [i[should not be a spawn weapon[/i] because once they have this powerful one-hit wonder all teamwork dissapears and everyone goes off on their own.
I think that's everything... oh wait Left 4 Dead's community went downhill ever since that boycott thing.
There that's everything.

p.s Interestingly Halo multiplayer goes in reverse, I started off hating it and ended up loving it.

I SUCK ASS ONLINE. I'm okay at Left4Dead I have a real hard time being an infected. Couldn't play GTA 4 because I'd get mowed down in a second in a deathmatch. I suck at Gears of War because I couldn't use the damn chainsaw bayonet. This is why I don't have XBOX GOLD MEMBERSHIP.

Warhammer Online. That game was fun, but, it was iffy at best. It was bugged in some areas such as in this one camp area I brushed up against a cart and got stuck. The bugs and some minor gameplay issues made me quit.

I would say CoD4 on the grounds that it's really unrealistic, and everyone uses GL's, Marty, and Silenced Sub-Machine guns.
hell, i use the Noobtoob whenever i need to see someone troll at me, i use marty all the time and i use silenced weapons. of course, this was in WaW, but still, im not seen as a prick unless im nr. 1 on the scoreboard spamming noobtoobs.

and the realistic part isnt really me. realism in games just means more stuff you cant do.

Halo 3 down to the fact that everyone i got teamed up with were either kids who don't shut up or people who are just generally dicks.

CoD4 because i was sick on teh grenade spam. I mean really, who thinks that just cos they use the 3 frag perk and get random kills makes them a good player? (PC version btw, so image a 50 person game, with half the people using it >_<)

Any that I've ever played.

I'm not really hardcore WTFPWN material. I once got into a fight with a teammate in a random WC3 4v4 match and we actually started attacking each other. After our side was well beyond the point of no return, of course. I imagine the other team got a nice chuckle.

There are also a number of games which I either enjoy yet have trouble setting up multiplayer, or games which I hate so much that I won't dare try multiplayer. Seeing as my enjoyment is related to how godlike I feel in a particular game, it somewhat preserves my experience to not play online, or with other people.

The only exception is Diablo 2, which I enjoyed online and offline, but don't play often.

All of Ubisoft's PC shooters. The matchmaking sucks, the game is more often than not imbalanced (talking bout R6:V2 and Call of Juarez: BiB here) and it's often consolized.

Far Cry 2, because making maps was at least ten times more addictive than shooting people in the face and taking bullets out of your arm.

CoD 4, well, this is the longest I've ever played a shooter online, the only reason I stopped playing this, is because I got bored of it. I'm not really a big FPS-junkie y' know...

Killzone 2, just didn't satisfy, had some good times with the campaign but... Multiplayer should have been smoother, the system for received awards wasn't really logical and well... It looked all so nice and solid before, but it just didn't manage to keep me.

Resistance: Fall of Man, until they released some patches I didn't like.

Civilization IV: Nobody plays the game as it was meant to be played, they just want to do military victory-only games, which I can't stand. I prefer out-economizing my foes.
Thank you! Someone else with my sentiments. Civ was not made to be a mindless war-a-thon like most of the other games out there, it was made to be a diplomatic game that uses war as a contingency plan.
I almost never go to war. Considering how massive my economy usually is, I can buy my way out of any wars, which allows me to focus on technology increases, and then I win via Space Race. When they realize my plan, it's too late; I'm already locked up with impenetrable defense as the clock slowly winds towards my victory.
I always go to war. War is 90% of the gameplay in civ. Dead boring without it.
You are supposed to conquer other civs and the scoring system reflects that.

It's quite the opposite with me. I played through CoD 1 and 2's SP so, so, so many times, but CoD4 was the first one on what I really played the multiplayer.

And ho damn, did I play for a LOONG time.

Man does that suck for you. I would've tried playing in some different game modes but whatever.

I gave up on GoW2 also because I basically sucked at it and didn't really want to put in the effort or the time to get good at it.

WIN everything you said i tottaly agree with. and gow2 isnt really worth getting good at because their developers change everything constantly and the xbox live crowd isnt the most intelligent one anyways so ill hide behind my desktop and brood silently to myself.
