I just re-downloaded Monday Night Combat, and got a free expansion pack, and it seems like no one is online anymore. I go to play crossfire, no one is there. I try out the newest Blitz map, no one is there, still waiting.

So do you know any games that no one seems to be playing online?

EDIT: Good news, looks like the people are back in MNC
Neotokyo. Such a shame.

No one is playing Deathmatch Classic. Yeah, that one.

I actually tried to play it today, but, no one is on at all.

Captcha: portil sufficient
No, captcha, it's PORTAL. And it's not sufficient. You need 2.

Metal Gear Online is pretty empty, save for the people that think they're the greatest players ever. Damn shame, too. It's got some innovative game modes.

CoD(1) and the United Offensive expansion are dead as well. I could really go for a good Base Assault.

Supreme Commander for the 360, in my time of having it, I've never had a game on it, EVER.
Same, but I would have put that down to the game not having the most friendly interface for console, I think the first game was made for PC gamers through and through not for us mere mortal Console owners :p

From what I heard online games could also take ages for SupCom, and well FPS - 15 mins a game and online Console RTS - 1 -2 hours with most of that building an economy and expanding? I would think a lot of people wouldn't have the patience.

Ace Combat 6 is pretty dead, which is a shame. As was Il-2 Sturmovik. Battlefield 1943 is fairly hit and miss sometimes, too.

Story of my life. Street Fighter IV (PC): Three people. Tomb Raider GoL (PC) being empty was the most annoying.

The only time I've gone online and found people was in Titan Quest, but they were all so freaking high level that I was afraid to join.

I think everyone just abandoned Team Fortress 2 - can't find a single sole online...
Presumably you're referring to a console version of that game. Either that, or you have a problem with your PC.

Shadowrun which is awesome because it is cross platform for pc and xbox on same games and even with two sources of players there are very few to be found.
Ah how I loved shadow run :)

I hate when games die, especially when I buy them old :l

Also, is MNC really dead? That would suck so hard considering it's multiplayer only..

He's probably on the console version; the PC version is not dead.

Multiwinia. Apparently. I don't know, I bought it for about 75p and never started it up because I have TF2 and L4D2. I am part of the problem.

I find that once I'm invested in one game, there's not that much motivation to switch. I could play Unreal Tournament, but that would just be like TF2, except with me not knowing what's going on. I imagine that's true of most players.

Any game before 2009 is more or less dead at this point, except the huge phenomenons like TF2 or Counter-Strike. Even Resistance 2 is almost dead. Warhawk and the first Bad Company still have a considerable amount of players, but awesome multiplayer games like Army of Two, Chronicles of Riddick, and Quantum of Solace are dead or close to it. Even Uncharted 2, as masterful as it is, sometimes feels like it's declining a bit. I'm still able to go to some masterpieces like the original Half-life (1998!) or UT3 (PS3 version at least) and find a few good servers.

I wish I could blame all of the CoD titles for being the black holes that they are, but the honest sad truth is that all multiplayer games die at some point. This is exactly why developers need to add bots to their titles!

Also, The Darkness.

Are you playing on the Console? Get the PC version!

Or, if you are on PC, try setting all of your server filters to their default options.

How the fuck do you play SupCom with a controller?

Mine is Shattered Horizon. For the best looking(Seriously...the cold wasteland of space never looked so awesome) and innovative FPS currently out there are hardly any players to shoot.
