they do have a point though, communism maybe not, but why is the big business guy always the bad guy?
Might have to do with stuff like hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil being dumped into the ocean because of big business fuck ups, subsequent cover ups, and larger interest in maintaining good PR than fixing the damn problem.
Little things like that.
Government is equally liable in many cases. I hate BP as much as the next guy for what they did in the gulf, BUT I hate them more for being one of the biggest pushers of the "green" agenda/propaganda while having the worst safety standards in the business, yet because they give lip service to the cause Obama gave them a green award for being the best most earth friendly oil company (even though they are the least) the week before the rig went up in smoke and oil.
I saw a little bit of Dr Dolittle two the other day... it was all about a logging company wanting to clear cut thousands of acres of forest and the animals have to stop it. Once again the big company is the bad guy, and its even more insulting because logging companies DONT DO THAT!!! They don't clear cut clear cutting is bad for business, takes longer for the trees to come back, also cutting is good because it makes forest fires less bad, no old dead trees to go up like kindling. Seriously look it up, forest fires to the most damage in places where logging companies are not allowed to go.
All I'm saying is its lazy writing and its not even accurate, portraying a stereotype of big business that is more like government with its imminent domain then anything else. All an oil company can do is give you a lot of money for your land, the government can (and has/will) take it by force with little to no compensation and give it to someone else (their friend who got them elected.)
