Murder-Suicide at the Olympics

Man...it may be a coincidence and this may just be an American thing but it feels like the s*** suddenly hit the fan over the past two days. Olympics start, Russia & Georgia go to war, Bernie Mac dies, 9 firefighters died in a helicopter crash, and whatever other awful thing can be conceived of.

I dunno, full moon or something.

I know that there is a view that certain US states hate foreigners commies in particular but going to war with an entire country? Or am I missing something, Ray Charles never mentioned there rabid xenophobia in his famous song!

Oh and I reckon it's coincidence being turned into mitigating circumstances for China being added to the axis of evil

Uh, Georgia as in the former member of the U.S.S.R. that is now begging for a cease fire before the Russians blow up another civilian area.
