Do you have a band/artist you do want to let anyone know you secretly enjoy?

I listen to Andrew W.K.

It just seems...wrong; and yet it feels so right. Blame it on my puritanical instincts.

If I really had one, why would I tell you?

But, one that I'm surprised I like, is Taylor Swift. Not really ashamed, but I know a lot of people, (especially here), who don't like her.

Not online, but I wouldn't be caught dead listening to most of my Japanese songs in front of my friends IRL.

I don't really know the general opinion of them on the Internets, but my brother seems to hate the fact that I enjoy KoRn and Three Days Grace.

He makes me feel like liking them is something to be ashamed of sometimes. :\

I used to be a huge fan of Nickelback. I still stand by that their first album was good.

Bullet for my Valentine... They look like some little punks, but the music is pretty good. Oh, and the band name leaves much to be desired.

I will begrudgingly admit that some contemporary pop songs are actually pretty alright and even fairly good.

I am not embarrassed by any of my music tastes. I can put my Ipod on random in any company and nothing it could throw up would raise a flicker of self-conciousness in me. And I say this a man with a disturbing amount of pornogrind on his Ipod.

Katy Perry

My itunes is a collection of mostly metal and rock and then theres a Katy Perry section

EDIT: I also have a few Japanese songs (theme from Slayers, Dir En Grey, Maximum the Hormone, and the Higurashi theme) that turn heads when I play them out loud but I'm not ashamed of them at all

Freezepop, and that's about it. There are some that I don't admit I listen to though.

OP: I've always had a thing for country and folk music...I honestly don't see why most people avoid it like the plague, the acoustic guitar is a great instrument when not in the hands of hipsters (the fiddle's always awesome) and the cowboy lifestyle and mindset is an interesting theme to explore. As for any good ones, here ya go:

I misread the title and saw music/artists, as I can't really name specific artists is it acceptable for me to simply post genre?

I like Lady GaGa..............
This. <.< Her songs are incredibly catchy.

Although in all fairness half the amateur covers of her songs on youtube are better than the originals... heh.
