Music played at your funeral. Yes, a rather morbid and down trodden thread.

I know its probably a bit cliche but maybe Monty Python's always look on the bright side of life.
Cliche or not, its perfect.

Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true."

This is the third thread I have seen asking this recently... oh well,
Where before I wanted something like 'Still Alive' by Valve played at my funeral, I now want this played at the grand event:
Well, it is quite a good song, so why not?
[small]No pun intended...[/small]

How many times have we done this topic now? Either this or "what do you want your funeral to be like" seems to come up once a week.

Anyway, my answer is always the same: I don't care what they play at my funeral or what it's like, nor do I care what they do with my body. I won't know what's happening, on account of being dead. Funerals are for the bereaved, let them do what they want.

Since I'll be dead, I don't/won't care what they do with my body or what they play when they do, but I'll humour myself. I've seen this type of topic once or twice before as well.

Always on my mind- Elvis
Karate- Tenacious D (Just for lulz)
Here Comes The Sun- The Beatles (Just to fuck with people and this is my favourite song.)
What's Left of The Flag, Death Valley Queen, and The Rare Ould Times- Flogging Molly
Think of Me and All I Ask of You- Phantom of the Opera
Zanarkand (You should all know who this is by and where it's from.)
Once You've Learned To Be Lonely- Reba McEntire
Time After Time- Cyndi Lauper

And at the risk of sounding cliched:

Always Look on the Bright Side of Life- Monty Python
