I'm listening to Amon Amarth, Slipknot, Finntroll, Five Finger Death Punch and occasionally some Del Amitri or Misfits / Ramones / Sex Pistols / Exploited. Sometimes a bit of Dolly Parton or Eminem too.

Any ideas?
Out of those I am familiar with Amon Amarth, Slipknot, and Five Finger Death Punch. Based on that I would say if you havent already check out August Burns Red and Strapping Young Lad.
I'm Liking August Burns. Thanks.

Wintersleep, Ill Scarlett, Protest the Hero, The Trews, The Arctic Monkeys, Attack in Black, Gnarls Barkley, NERD, Immortal Technique, Mika, Green Day, Weezer, Jack Johnson, Foo Fighters, Blind Melon, and Bedouin Soundclash.

Anyone trying to find music check out the above artists each of them has a different sound, and hey you may find something you like. I am pretty open to all styles of music, but I prefer music which has a nice beat and is great to travel to.

If anyone here is into electronic music, or just looking for something trippy, check out "Holy Fuck". Their music is electronic, but they play in real time with a drummer and bassist, so its not just some guy and a computer using synthesizers and fake drum kits. Plus its probably the best thing to listen to under the influence.

lol this is hard for me cause i listen to a lot of death metal and i know thats not everyones cup of tea lol

Why not try some lesser known power metal bands? Rhapsody of fire are korny but you cant help but love em for it.

Hadouken are a unique band thier scene but they sound like space invaders so its kinda cool
(seriously im not making that up listen to Get Smashed Gate Crash)

And if i had to recommand a death metal band start with Amon Amarth lol ease yourself into it
Death Metal Vikings from Finland ftw!

I've recently been introduced to Streetlight Manifesto, an awesome ska band (with an awesome bass player). I especially love this song:
Good stuff, I can recommend it to everyone.

If you like Hendrix, you might want to give Cream or The Doors a try. For Gorrilaz, you might like some of Beck's stuff.

Easy way to find stuff similar to what you already like is pandora. Just add a www. and a .com to it. They'll mix up a bunch of stuff you'll probably like. Enjoy.
