I guess this count (Faith Of The Heart by Russell Watson) seeing how it's consider bad bysome trekkie, hating it for not fitting in the rest of the Star Trek opennings.

To me the song is quite uplifting and it totally fit the series (since it's the preclude to the entire Star Trek franchise). Also the video itself fit perfectly show the accomplishment to what mankind had achive by exploration into the unkown.
You played Homeworld?

The song fits that game so much better it's not even funny.

Powerwolf. Powerwolf are pretty much the very definition of cheese in metal, the riffs are alright at best, the lyrics are hilariously cheesy, and the whole thing is just SO AWESOME. I have to assume that everything cheesy about them is part of their charm.

Also this.
I'll have you know that Powerwolf happens to be one of my top three favorite bands!

OT:
[sub][sub]ps, I'm not insulted, I'm just giving a random fact about me. [/sub][/sub]

I shouldn't like this, it's bloody terrible.
I can't help it though, it's really catchy!
I have nothing to really add to this thread because i like just about all music, but i just find it sooo entertaining that your avatar was perfectly in sync with the beat while i listened to that Flo Rida song...

80s pop music gets a bad rap on so many fronts, but I quite unabashedly love so much of it. My personal favorite, which by sheer luck has a moderately rad video:

Dayum straight. 80's pop is the shizzlest.

OT: Something that is also the shizzlest is hair metal. I really just cannot get enough of the stuff, even if it is rarely of good quality. :)

HaHa Yeah some of my guilty pleasures are terrible. Evryone I know hates Kate Bush but i love her. I can't help it. Also Wham. I love a good dance to "wake me up before you go-go" Sorry I'm sorry.
As far as I'm aware, Kate Bush is very well thought of. "Running Up That Hill" is a killer song, and most of the other stuff I've heard of her has been solid. I always see people talking about how Kate Bush is a big influence on them in interviews and the snobby interviewer is always like "well that's a great person to follow," so listen to Kate Bush with pride, I guess

Limp Bizkit is probably the only one. Every other band I listen to I would defend to the end of the earth as being comprised of talented musicians and lyricists, but with the Bizkit I know its pretty stupid stuff and don't care. I will still happily sing along to Rollin' or Break Stuff any day of the week.
